Moving Work of Art is one of the songs on this CD and it is a reasonable title for this review. Fate's Right Hand may be Rodney's best album, but I think Sex and Gasoline will be getting more listens from me----it just goes down easier. Good production by Joe Henry with a host of outstanding musicians in the studio. I am happy with my purchase.

If Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks (1975) isn't his greatest album, it's certainly his most perfect. There isn't a single blemish on this flawless classic, and as it effortlessly flows from start to finish with raw emotion and acoustic beauty, it gives the listener a clear image of the depth and range of the emotioanal turmoil that Dylan was experiencing at the time.

I wouldn't exactly call Blood on the Tracks a concept album, but the theme of a marriage that has fallen apart is apparent in nearly every song here. The collapse of Dylan's marriage to Sara Lowndes is said to be the inspiration for the album.

One of the things that sets Blood on the Tracks apart from many of Dylan's other albums is the sheer beauty of it's sound. ... Read More:

This album has staying power, is a thinking-person's album, sounds great, has terrific lyrics, is well thought out, and basically makes everything else I listen to sound downright crappy. Buy it and listen the heck outta it. I listen to all genres of rock. There is simply nothing better than this album. BTW if you don't like country music, which I don't, you will still like this album.

Got this cd based on the song Hallelujah and everyone giving it such great reviews. Let me just say I am completely disappointed. I listened to it twice to give it the benefit of the doubt and found there are are only 2 or 3 songs I would ever wanna hear on this album ever again.

Yawn! Why is this album in such high regard? It's crap. It's just a commercial computer manufactured pile of flaming poo. The guy can't even play guitar! He only knows how to play two chords. I think it's about time someone showed this hack to write music- Fred Durst, perhaps?

I'm With Stupid is one of my all-time top 25. Whatever is nearly as good as that one. Smilers almost put me to sleep. Medicine Wheel is pretty good. Balantine's? Heard it before. The rest... you get the picture.

America was never considered a cool band, but they could turn out memorable tunes with rich harmonies. They have a folk vibe to many of their songs. I like most of their songs but I think 'Muskat Love' is too sappy. Even if you don't know the group by name you have probably heard their songs. The song 'You can do Magic' is played everywhere and obviously has commercial uses. They remain underrated.
