I looooove all the Putamayo compilations, I think they have great pros who are able to put together cool, smooth sounds of artists that sometimes are forgotten in time, or never made it to mass-distribution. This one is no different and makes me want to jump on the first plane down to Rio de Janeiro!!
I own several CDs of their large collection, but I'm always looking for more. I think these CDs also make a great gift for just about anyone who enjoys to have friends over, these make great chill-out background music.

This Disney movie is interesting in that it is virtually plotless. It begins with a couple of cute cartoons about a penguin and then a flying donkey, but later turns into a Latin American travelogue, that evovles into a full-blast, semi-erotic, Mexican, acid trip. And the movie was made some twenty years before the psychodelic sixties! Actually, from what I understand, it was produced as part of of Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Good Neighbor Policy" initiative concerning Latin America.

Something just quite wasn't right about both "El Ultimo Concierto" releases in 1997. It had the songs, it had the fans, it seemed like the perfect goodbye release, but there was something that didn't quite click. I had always wondered what that was, and until the Me Veras Volver tour was released on CD and DVD i found out: it was lacking passion!

Because the band ended in such terrible terms in 1997, the goodbye tour back then seemed more like a responsibility to Sony BMG records rather than something the three of them were dying to do. The Me Veras Volver Tour release highlighted this in a massive way. Compre esta coleccion porque conocia algunas de las canciones, y debo decir que por el precio, ha sido una de las mejores compras que he hecho recientemente. El bolero ha sido un genero muy popular en las generaciones de mis abuelos y mis padres, y sus melodias son tan vigentes hoy en dia como lo fueron muchos anos atras. Luis Miguel interpreta estas inmortales canciones con un estilo unico y glamoroso. En resumen, estoy muy satisfecha con esta adquisicion.

Placido Domingo is a great man...I love his music and will always continue to listen to him...he is so relaxing for me to hear...
I loved this CD with John Denver singing my favorite "Perhaps Love"

I received this cd fairly quickly...in about 5 days with basic shipping and when I read this seller's info on this cd they claimed it was like new, but when I got it I was a bit skeptical that it would play because the back of the cd looked as though they tried to buff out scratches with some sort of machine...it does play though...EXCELLENT in fact.
