This review is written by Mr. Bradberry's students:
The beatles' number one hits was a great album that they have put out. I think it was a great compilation of there hits. They put it together and had it sold in stores and they had there fan base grow 10 fold. But some of there songs that are on the album should not be on there and they also could have made it into a two disc set. The songs may be scatterd into many of there Cd's but they all came together in one great compilation and as you all can tell i give a five out of five.
If fans truly love the beatles they should buy this cd, and be prepared for a revival of beatlemania. unlike today's boy band the beatles actually wrote their music.

I collect and own 100's of music DVD's, and nearly all music HD-DVD's and music Blu-ray's yet released, which I play back with very resolving gear in my home theater. I bought this because Alison is tops by any measure. I knew the music would be wonderful, but I was surprised to find the recording quality itself to be so outstanding. Very dynamic with excellent sound stage and dimension. The video is excellent too, as good it gets short of hi-definition.
Now if we could just have a blu-ray concert of Alison and Union Station . . .

I only like 3 songs off this. I could listen to "Pocket Full of Sunshine" over and over and i was hoping there would be more songs like that. But unfortunately there are alot of those dreaded skip-overs that are just unlistenable in my oppinion. I like "put ur arms around me" and the last song comes in as a savior for a waste of an album "not givn' up". It's as if they knew and they said "man we need one more good song on here or else this is gonna tank". the song "soulmate" is ok for a ballad, I like the lyrics. The rest of the songs are just ordinary pop bs. the song "Pirate Bones" is Natasha's attempt at being surreal and edgy. I guess she tried to take her music to the next level. I would say just stick to what you're good at, don't try ... Read More:

For an album to be so meagre in depth there are many words to spend.
To begin with, to claim this piece of crap is a 'messed-up-piece' only shows a severe lack of knowledge and wisdom, to take that Benny my man!
Secondly for a CD so painfully preposterous there is no validation and right to exist under the sun moon and stars.
How utterly dreadful that (again!!) the dumb masses be enchanted by this unwiped *** of an album.
It is cruelly misappropriate to barf any cliched compliments over this swine of swines.
I wish I could destroy this CD on the first day of its smelly 'breathe'.

I have Lee Ann Womack's previous album "There's more where that came from", and was wondering if she could live up to it. It's such a great cd. "Call Me Crazy" however is also great! The first single "Last Call" talks about getting a call from an old love, who's probably sitting in a bar somewhere listening to a country song. From there the album gets better and better. "New Again" talks about how everything's old and worn out, but someone's love can make us new again. "The Bees" is an intriging song, based on the novel "The Secret Life of Bees", and one worth listening to. "If these walls could talk" is a story about a family facing hard times, and a little child's prayers. All in all, this album is one worth picking up.

I consider myself to be one of those people that can appreciate any kind of music. I never heard of any of the bands on this soundtrack but it I thoroughly enjoyed the music. It's very innocent and makes you yearn for your forever lost youth. Nostalgic.

When a local theater subscribed to the Metropolitan Opera's HD LIVE series and broadcast DR. ATOMIC on November 8th I decided I shouldn't miss it. I'm not a fan of Adams, but the subject matter is so important, and it had been brought to my doorstep...
DR. ATOMIC has its moments. The first act builds up to a tremendous aria, Gerald Finley singing "Batter My Heart," one of the Holy Sonnets of John Donne, as the character of Robert Oppenheimer. The first scene is the assembled throng of Manhattan Project workers. I was decidedly underwhelmed. The second scene is a love scene with Oppenheimer and his wife Kitty -- much better, with Finley in fine form. Then back to the bomb, with the test blast impending and a rainstorm, building tension. Finally, the Faustian ... Read More:

Since 2001, Deerhunter - co-founded by Bradford Cox and Moses Archuleta - have produced three LPs and four EPs worth of astonishing "ambient punk" (their own description), picking up devotees and different musicians along the way. Their mantra - "To achieve harmony in bad taste is the height of elegance" (Jean Genet) (Fronted by openly gay and occasionally cross-dressing singer Bradford Cox, Deerhunter have earned themselves a formidable reputation for intense live performances in their native Atlanta).
4AD's first involvement with the band was to release Microcastle, their excellent third album. The follow-up to 2006's acclaimed Cryptograms, it was recorded over the course of a week at Rare Book Studios in Brooklyn, New York with Nicolas Verhes and was created as a four-piece, consisting ...
