I am a huge Elvis fan and was not disappointed by this! It is a wonderful CD for anyone who loves Elvis and Christmas together! I even bought one for my mother in-law who is another die hard Elvis fan. I can't wait for the next one!

Honestly, out of all the covers Christmas songs get, I've yet to find anyone as consistant and perfect for the job as miss Amy Grant. My family has kept her christmas CDs in heavy rotation all season long for years it seems, and they always sound fresh, they always bring the warmth and jolly of the time, and the reminder of the nativity.

I would recommend buying all her Christmas albums (i'm not sure how many there are) but if you'd rather hit the highlights then this one definately does the job. There's only a few tracks I would have liked to see make the cut, but for the most part these are the best. I love "count your blessings instead of sheep" i wish more people sang that song, it's brilliant.

This is one of my favorite CDs. Each song brings up a different emotion. Everyone I have played it for loves it. I play it over and over and enjoy it more each time.

A Cd this great only comes around a few times a year, and Darius Ruckers CD would rank number one against most of them. This is one of those CD's you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track. With his smooth vocals and great storytelling, any country fan who wouldn't pick this up would be out of their mind. Take my advice and pick up this GREAT country CD, you will not be disappionted.

What a fantastic voice! I loved, loved, loved the whole CD.

Katy Perry is a great singer and has the right idea with her songs. However, the musical aspect of the other tunes besides the two radio hits kind of misses the mark. Such a shame for a talented person such as she.

So many vocalists tend to fulfill their recording contract obligations with bland or over the top holiday albums that end up in the recycling bin, but this cd is truly a gift of love from Mary Chapin Carpenter. You will find no rehashed versions of "Joy to the World", or "Little Drummer Boy", or no political bended songs which might be expected in a Chapin cd. What MCC delivers are wonderful interpretations of lesser known traditional songs and solid vocalizations of her own songs and contemporaries. The arrangements are light and Chapin"s vocals examine her rich alto. For most artists, putting out their sophomore album is one of the most trying times in their career. Many artists second albums pale in comparison to their first, both artistically and in sales figures. Carrie Underwood's second project, Carnival Ride, breaks through the stereotypes and is poised to eventually sell more and become more respected than the previous album, Some Hearts. Vocally, Carrie has become more talented on this record, if that is even possible. All of the songs on the album were hand selected, with Carrie even co-writing a few, and it is obvious that much thought was given to the tracks on the album. This is a stand out and one of my favorites in mainstream country music today!
