Combine an introverted bedroom wordsmith (Morrissey) with an extroverted understated guitar genius (johnny Marr) and you have arguably England's best musical marriage since Lennon and McCartney. The Smiths live on in the hearts and minds of those who survived the eighties and those naive youngsters who wish they had been there. Hopeful romantics may want to pick up this latest greatest collection from England's Kings of Melancholy. The Sounds of The Smiths is a wonderful compilation for Smiths completists and newbies alike.
The great tunes are all here (How Soon is Now, This Charming Man, Panic) along with b-sides from their import singles (Jeane, Handsome Devil). We're told they've been remastered but this it is hardly noticable ... Read More:

This young promise it's a good mix between african music, rock, punk and other vibes. A cool CD if you are tired of the conventional bands. Banga Manga Baby.

Another classic AC/DC album. This is actually AC/DC`s sixth studio album and the one that broke them in the U.S and world wide. It is a brilliant album but what let`s it down a tiny bit for me is the production is a bit polished, but i suppose it had to be done to please some American record company executives. The album Dirty Deeds still hadn`t been released in America even after this album went gold in America. Dirty deeds only got released in America after Bon died and it went higher in the charts than Highway to hell did. Someone at Atlantic records just didn`t have a clue did he? The front cover artwork is different to the Australian version of this album and i prefer the Australian cover as it has more details in it (fire and a bass guitar fret board that ... Read More:

I own all Staind albums, and all I can say is what a fresh breath of air compared to their previous album, Chapter V. Not to rub any body the wrong way, but I only liked one-third of Chapter V and was quite disappointed expecting a superb CD like their previous albums.
They're starting to change their sound for the better as well. It's more calm but still hard at the same time. If you like their previous songs "It's Been A While," "Epiphany" "Outside," "Home," "Zoe Jane," etc. definitely pick this album up!
(PS: Aaron Lewis, release an acoustic CD please! )

This is as generic and bland as rock music can get. This CD is immensely boring. This album basically embodies all the stereotypical radio rock elements you can image.
If you want the monotonous truck-commercial sounding riffs and awful wannabe-Pearl Jam sounding vocals, you have it all in this album.
There's honestly A LOT a band can do with 2 guitars, bass and drums. What drives a band to produce a CD of music which seriously sounds like it was made specifically for the radio? Probably money. Don't buy this album if you're a music fan. Leave this one for the casual radio listeners.

Normally if I like one song by an artist, I like most of their songs. But I can't seem to figure Sugarland out. I liked Baby Girl from there first CD but not really anything else. Then I stopped liking Baby Girl as much as I did. I HATE Stay. I sort of like Settlin', Want To, and Everyday America. But none of them scream "SUGARLAND IS AMAZING!", so I borrowed the CD because I liked All I Want to Do (from Love on the Inside) and thought, who knows I may enjoy some songs on this CD. Well none of them are really that great, but I can say I really like County Line.
So if you really liked Settlin', Want To, Stay and Everyday America I'd give this CD a try.

This review is written by Mr. Bradberry's students:
The beatles' number one hits was a great album that they have put out. I think it was a great compilation of there hits. They put it together and had it sold in stores and they had there fan base grow 10 fold. But some of there songs that are on the album should not be on there and they also could have made it into a two disc set. The songs may be scatterd into many of there Cd's but they all came together in one great compilation and as you all can tell i give a five out of five.
If fans truly love the beatles they should buy this cd, and be prepared for a revival of beatlemania. unlike today's boy band the beatles actually wrote their music.
This cd gives the new generation a chance to experience ... Read More:

I only like 3 songs off this. I could listen to "Pocket Full of Sunshine" over and over and i was hoping there would be more songs like that. But unfortunately there are alot of those dreaded skip-overs that are just unlistenable in my oppinion. I like "put ur arms around me" and the last song comes in as a savior for a waste of an album "not givn' up". It's as if they knew and they said "man we need one more good song on here or else this is gonna tank". the song "soulmate" is ok for a ballad, I like the lyrics. The rest of the songs are just ordinary pop bs. the song "Pirate Bones" is Natasha's attempt at being surreal and edgy. I guess she tried to take her music to the next level. I would say just stick to what you're good at, don't try to be an Amy Winehouse or somebody you can't ... Read More:
