I purchased the electronic keyboard for a birthday gift to give to our 13 year old grandaughter. The unit arrived as scheduled and was very nice however the keyboard had small keys, and she wanted one with piano size keyboard. I returned it to amazon and they put a credit to my credit card. Everything went smoothly and I look forward to future purchases with amazon.

may be i was a fool expecting this keyboard to be a wonderful instrument, cause this is far not the best keyboard among all of these crapy cheap keyboards..
with its 61 keys it has a beautiful setting that u can extend octaves. this yamaha has no touch sensitivity and it's a pity...
whatever.. if u have just started learning to play piano or something and u want cheap and not very bulky thing to practice your skills it's worth buying.. and if u don't care about touch sensitivity of course...

The quality is 5 stars and this unit will not disapoint you.

But here is what might.
As you may have already read this does come with a power supply. When I baught mine i got it without it and the unit only cost me about $170. While this bundle is nice i think they are charging you almost 30 bucks for the power supply.

ALso finding out from yamaha what powersupply they recomend is like pulling teeth (by hand).

There is a locking bolt on the bottum of this to attach it securly to a stand. NONE of the stands under $100 use this bolt they just sit the keyboard on rubber stubs.

STILL I 10000% recomend this unit and all in all what it has taken me to get a power supply i think the price hike here ... Read More:

This unit is all that is advertised and more. The hundreds of voices and available synthos make it a "close to pro" instrument. The onboard speakers are plenty loud for inside and the key touch is awesome. I am going to buy another one for Christmas.

The Casio keyboard was the "best" present for my 3 grandchildren, ages 11, 9 and 5 1/2. They can all play it. Plus they don't need any accessories as they felt it had everything they needed. Super gift.

i have been searching for a decently priced keyboard that isn't cheaply made and has a piano-like feel. this is that keyboard! i read a lot of reviews and found that this one seemed to have most of what i wanted. the only thing it doesn't have, which i didn't find important is a record button. it does have piano lessons, a lot of songs to choose from, a ton of sounds and styles to play with, full size piano keys, its own speakers and a built in metronome. the only thing is lacks is its own power adaptor. i was actually going to order this on amazon and saw it for $79.99 at best buy, the power adaptor was $9.99, also at best buy. so other than the price on here, i love this keyboard!

Give this to a kid 3 years or older, put on the earphones, show how to turn the knob to get different sounds and the kid will be occupied for quite some time. Next time show the kid how to record, loop and add loops. It may be hard to get it back for your intended purpose!

Much better time waster than video games.

I am very pleased with this keyboard stand. It is extremely sturdy. The only disappointment I had was that the description stated that the keyboard stand was "collapsible." I assumed that meant that when it was mounted on the keyboard, it would fold for travel. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The stand must be unbolted each time, then it will collapse for travel. This is not very convenient.
