It is a nice toy, makes really nice music. I will not order from this vendor again. I was very disappointed in the delivery time, on this. It was bought for Christmas, and arrived two days late. The express mail I requested didn't happen. I was not charged for it, but it was indicated when I ordered it that I would receive in in two to three working days.

African Gourd Thumb Piano, Kalimba

I'd say this is more of a decorative product than a fully functional one. It works great and what you see online is what you get, but I haven't been able to tune the thing. The product is from Ghana so it is authentic and you are supporting African craftsmen which is great- and it is made out of a real gourd and is attractive in appearance. It's especially good for kids as you can teach them cultural things. But most other Kalimbas have more thumb keys.

8-Note Board Piano (Kalimba)

This is a beautiful little Thumb Piano. It has a lovely wooden finish. It is quite portable and has a very pleasing, soothing tone. The range of this little instrument is one octave, starting with middle C. The Thumb Piano comes with a little book of simple songs, to get you started. The thumb piano is very relaxing and fun to play. It is easy to learn to play, even if you have little musical experience.

Bargain 30 Button Anglo Concertina

While the notes are accurate during the time this concertina works, this concertina has buttons that stick, and notes that stay open even when the button isn't pressed.

If you're thinking of taking it apart to try and repair it, good luck. The screws pictured above don't turn very easily. Obviously they weren't meant for taking back out. If you get them out, though, you then have to deal with the fact that the place to access the buttons is -GLUED SHUT-. So good luck getting in there.

Also, I had to make a new hole in the hand straps to get it tight enough, but that may just be because I have scrawny hands.
