This banjo is very good for its price. It was shipped without any flaws and is able to maintain its tune without having to continuously adjust the strings. This is a good for any beginner.

Oscar Schmidt OU5 Concert Koa Ukulele

This was my first ukulele.. actually, it was my first instrument. It was very easy to learn and from there I learned how to play guitar. It is easy to tune and it has a beautiful sound. The aspect I like most about it is the looks of it though - it had a really nice finish and style. I recommend it to anyone who's looking into ukulele's on this site!

This was my first ukulele.. actually, it was my first instrument. It was very easy to learn and from there I learned how to play guitar. It is easy to tune and it has a beautiful sound. This is a great 3/4 guitar for the money.
I was looking for a travel size guitar to kick around with and this little guitar was just what I was looking for.
I'm in no way an expert but the sound is just incredible and the guitar itself is stunning to look at. I have shopped for many 3/4 size guitars and this one is definitely the one you want to buy.
The neck is tapered near the top and is very similar to my ovation just smaller. Kids, students and anyone with small hands would do well with this instrument.
The action was perfect right out of the box and just in case, it does have an adjustable truss rod. My guitar teacher has always said this is a key feature for any acoustic guitar. (make sure you let a professional ... Read More:

I purchased this for my six year-old's birthday because her father and I play guitar and she always wants to be a part of the music practice. She is learning to strum in time and be dedicated to practicing an instrument. We all love playing this. Fabulous quality, take some time to tune. Buy the hard case for it and plenty of picks.

Washburn OC1 Oscar Schmidt 3/4 Size Classical Acoustic Guitar

I have a more expensive normal size classical guitar myself. I bought this Washburn OC1 Oscar Schmidt 3/4 Size Classical Acoustic Guitar (made in China) from another music store for my 10-year-old son. The craftsmanship is not the best, but the guitar tone and sound are definitely good enough for young beginners. I am amazed about the volume of the sound and the clarity this little guitar can produce.

I brought this guitar a few days ago when I decided to try to learn to play classically after ten+ years of playing acoustic steel string and occasionally electric (Les Paul guitars rule for that, by the way). I received this guitar (no joke now) THREE DAYS after having placed my order! The speed was amazing! The guitar arrived completely undamaged and safely packed. The finish on the guitar is beautiful; it looks like a much more expensive instrument. Now for the sound: as most everyone on the guitar reviews has said, good strings make a world of difference. I can tell that these strings are pretty bargain priced and I will change them as soon as I get a chance to visit my local guitar shop.
