I bought this metronome after I'd been playing a number of years, and quickly this became my personal favourite for a number of reasons. First, the colour makes it really easy to find when you're packing up your things, so you're less likely to lose it. Second, the adjustable volume control means that you can gradually fade out the metronome sound. Third, the flashing light I found particularly useful when practicing in the choir loft with the organ and organist at the other end of a church. It's a nice recorder, that comes with a nice case. It is a baroque recorder, which I don't remember seeing in the description. It also comes with recorder cream. I like the sound a lot.

Yamaha C40 Full Size Nylon-String Classical Guitar

I give it a 5 mainly because in this price range, I really don't know of a better sounding or higher quality guitar. I have owned several guitars, steel, nylon, 12-string and electric. While I overall prefer the mellow sound of the nylon string and the melodious sound of the 12, I like them all.

This guitar is not the best sounding guitar, but if you are looking at this price range you should not be expecting it to sound like a professional handmade guitar. It is great for a beginner or for someone who is on a budget and I recommend this one to anyone who asks me. The tone is clear and balanced throughout the fretboard. Silent Brass System for Trombone Trombone

The product works as advertised, which I can't really say for most products with as much marketing material as the Silent Brass System for Trombone. I have a slightly older revision of SBS and use it regularly in my apartment.

As another reviewer mentioned more emphatically, make sure you don't become dependent on the resistance and feedback from the mute. It definitely changes all of my trombones drastically versus an open horn, but I won't go as far as to dissuade owning one. Practicing with the mute is 100% improvement over no practice at all!

He and his class were learning to play the recorder in Music and I thought this would be a great way for him to tell the difference between his and 20 other look alikes. Only the color is different, the durability and craftmanship are still the same great quality I have come to expect from yamaha.
