I bought this keyboard to mess around and maybe learn a few chords and I was amazed at how cool this keyboard is compared to most. They say Yamaha is one of the best keyboard brands out there and now I'm a believer. I've even recorded with this keyboard, nothing professional, but it works. Has a decent quality of features and the sound is pretty good for it's price range. A perfect keyboard for any starter. One word, delightful.

my main problem with the keyboard is it sounded cheap and nothing like the real thing. really cheap. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I having so much fun! Can't wait to sit down to play - and then have to tear myself away. I don't know if I hooked up smething wrong, but the keyboard was unpredictable--sometimes I would get sound of it and sometmes not. I cured the problem by hooking my computer up to an inexpensive digital keyboard that I purchased, and now all is well. I would highly recommend the software to everyone!

We bought this at Costco warehouse at a fabulous price: $[...] including a matching metal bench. It is a perfect step up for our kids from a 61-key Yamaha keyboard to this full size 88-key digital piano with weighted graded hammer action and pedals. Their piano teacher felt that it plays (thanks to WGH action) and sounds (thanks to excellent speakers) like an expensive grand piano despite its very small footprint ideal for the kids' room. Because it is digital (hence programmable), it allows variety of sounds (besides classical piano), recording and playback of own notes, and also a duet mode that allows the teacher and the student to play side by side by digitally splitting the keyboard into two.
