I have to admit, I did not expect much based on the price but this particular violin has turned out to be one of my favorites in my collection of electric instruments. I was really surprised at the way it hold its tune and it also came with a pretty nice brazilian hardwood bow. The neck makes it a little easier to reach the higher positions but the sound really impressed me when it came time to plug into an amp. This is a fun violin. I would recommend it for anyone who loves to play violin and is looking for an electric starter to experiment with some new sounds. Can't beat the price and the sound will convince even the most diehard skeptics, like me.

Yamaha NP30 Portable Grand Digital Piano

I just bought my Yamaha Np-30 after returning 2 M-Audio keyboards. M-Audio is terrible. I like knobs and things, but the Yamaha NP-30 keeps it simple. I like it because I can turn it on and start creating something- then if inspiration strikes, I can fire up the midi to computer device and lay it down.

With M-Audio, I noticed the keys were "cheap" and just sticky feeling. The Np-30 is smooth. Not quite like a real piano, but for $300 what do you want! :)

It's a great keyboard for simple ideas or practicing- that is where it all comes from, simplicity.

Yamaha classical guitars are the best inexpensive high quality classical guitars that you can purchase. I've bought several other brands of classical guitars in the past but always end up selling them. I always keep the Yamahas.

If you research classical guitars on the Internet, you will find that Yamaha brand is the best classical guitar that you can buy for the money. They are not hand crafted like the more expensive brands but who cares? They are made by a computer controlled machine to exact tolerances. They play just as great as one made by a craftsman. ... I recently purchased the CTK900 for my elderly Aunt.Her musical interest is in classical piano and church organ. This keyboard has a button for both piano pre-sets,and draw-bar organ. I have an older version with 2 song capability;which I still enjoy composing original instrumental music with. I would consider the CTK 900 an updated version of my Casio, & suitable for someone who appreciates the fine tonal qualities offered. My Aunt is 95, and I feel it satisfies her educated ear. This keyboard & accessories are a terrific value,and supply everything a musician needs to be creative. JS
