Rosewood Bagpipe Practice Chanter, Book, & CD

I found the practice chanter hard to blow and difficult to separate. It looked better than it sounded. However the book and CD were helpful and easy to understand.

LP RhythMix Mini Bongos

Trying to play these myself, I have to play pretty forcefully to get a decent pitch. It's not nearly as easy to play as a better quality, non-toy version of bongos, but then, it's a whole lot sturdier than a quality wood & skin drum.

The colors are vibrant and very appealing. These have withstood the abuses heaped on them by my kids from their toddler through preschooler years, and still look great.

Buy a pair of mallets or drumsticks to go with these: it makes it a whole lot easier to play, and gives children more immediate gratification.

*The "too pricey" comment was made when these were retailing at $35. The new list price of $20 seems much more reasonable, and a real bargain at the sale price ... Read More:

Jasmine by Takamine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar

Really a very nice guitar for the money. The strings that come with it are a little stiff, so I might buy lighter weight strings, but this is a nice guitar that easily sounds like a guitar 4 times its price or better.

Got the guitar, and was way out of tune, the nut was broke, causeing the strings to lay on the frets. had to take it to be repaired 2 days after getting it. And the neck also has to be adjusted. The amp is the only thing that worked properlly.
