This ones is a little better than the loud plastic ones, but I guess I'm just not a recorder person, It still sounds like a toy to me. Maybe the very expensive ones would sound a little more rich, but I don't think I wanna play that bad. I'll just stick with the metal flutes for now.

This violin is VERY cheaply made. I would only purchases this for a child or young adult who isn't seriously going to learn to play. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I recently took up recorder playing and fell into playing with my school's choir. I needed an instrument that sounded half decent, but I didn't want to spend a ton on a more expensive wooden recorder. I decided to buy this one, and I have been nothing but pleased with it. It sounds as good as a plastic recorder possibly can and breaks into three pieces for easy cleaning. If you need a good recorder and are stingy (much like me) buy this. You will not be upset!

I ordered this clarinet for my nephew, who said he was not continuing on with the school band program in the fall because he didn't own his own instrument. The clarinet was shipped right away and I received it within 24 hours of placing the order. I opened the clarinet and everything looked to be of very high quality. I had a little trouble putting the instrument together (maybe because of the humidity of summer in Boston). I will leave the instrument assembled for a couple days before giving it to my nephew for his birthday in July so that it will be easier for him to assemble it. This unit is all that is advertised and more. The hundreds of voices and available synthos make it a "close to pro" instrument. The onboard speakers are plenty loud for inside and the key touch is awesome. I am going to buy another one for Christmas.

The Casio keyboard was the "best" present for my 3 grandchildren, ages 11, 9 and 5 1/2. They can all play it. Plus they don't need any accessories as they felt it had everything they needed. Super gift.

Basic Beat Pair of 8" Combination Rhythm Sticks

Basic Beat combination rhythm sticks are great! One is serated and makes a washboard sound when rubbed. I like the ability to have variety in the sounds with such a small, light weight, easy to carry around instrument! Great for children or adults, rhythm beginners or experts. Lots of fun to play and the smooth wood feels great in my hands.

Hohner Kazoo

Hohner has a pretty good reputation. This little plastic kazoo is just fine for a little tootling when nothing but a kazoo will do. If you are a serious kazoo player (is that an oxymoron?), I suggest looking elsewhere. For entertaining the kids or for getting them interested in playing a a real instrument (sorry, kazoo lovers), a kazoo is a great place to start.

i have been searching for a decently priced keyboard that isn't cheaply made and has a piano-like feel. this is that keyboard! i read a lot of reviews and found that this one seemed to have most of what i wanted. the only thing it doesn't have, which i didn't find important is a record button. it does have piano lessons, a lot of songs to choose from, a ton of sounds and styles to play with, full size piano keys, its own speakers and a built in metronome. the only thing is lacks is its own power adaptor. i was actually going to order this on amazon and saw it for $79.99 at best buy, the power adaptor was $9.99, also at best buy. so other than the price on here, i love this keyboard!
