In my opinion, any case for an instrument should protect that instrument. I think this case does a very poor job of that. It is a soft case. What kind of idiot would store a quality, fragile, wood instrument in a case that cannot protect it from crushing? Of course I realized this when I bought the item, but this was the only case available for the instrument. If they had a hard case available, I would have bought it instead.

If you really do want a soft case for your instrument, I would recommend this case. It is well made. However, don't be deluded with false secuirty. This case will provide only very minimal protection.

This is a must have for any Church that does weddings. You know if you don't have it, you'll be asked if you do. Don't be caught without this wonderful CD. Great songs, all of them. Ravenwood Manor highly recommends.

You would be very fortunate to get your hands on one of these. I've been looking for one on line and in stores since October. Finally, I found it here in December. It has a powerful and distinctive sound. The sound does come out of the bells. Very facinating and cool instrument.

So far I have watched this video for the last two nights. I am a beginning mandolinist (I have been playing mediocre guitar for half my life) so I wanted to start from the beginning to try to "unlearn" bad habits from years of self taught guitar. This is a really good video for play along with and the songs are ordered in various levels of difficulty with each of them having a certain technique to focus on. The part I don't like (possibly will get more technical later on in the disc?) is that it feels more like mandolin play-along then actual instruction. The instructor (who is very articulate and skilled, otherwise) doesn't spend a lot of time talking technique, but spends a majority time showing you these songs that are on the disc. ... Read More:

Latin Percussion LPA229 Aspire Tri-Tone Samba Whistle

If you've heard the whistles in Carnival parade music, this is the one you heard! It has a unique and electrifying 3-tone sound like no other. The sound can be varied somewhat by covering individual whistle components with a finger, if you like, but I think it loses something when you do. It's also quite loud! Definitely a specialty item, but just plain fun to own, too! This is from LP's Aspire line. They also make a gold-toned, aluminum premium version under the LP name, but it's considerably more expensive - typically $30-35 discounted.
