Two of the strings were continuously running slack and could not be tuned. I had to finally figure out that the screw in the middle of the peg needed adjusting. Some instructions with the instrument would have helped. Otherwise, it seems to be well made, not with a lot of tone, and the frets are not really accurate as even when the strings are tuned the fingered chords sound a bit dissonant.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old son, who loves it. It is a very high quality toy drum. I selected it because it didn't have batteries, the design is not too "toddler-like," and I liked the drumstick. My son can hit it very hard and it is very sturdy, and it also make a very nice sound. Probably up to ages 7-8 or so would enjoy it. I highly recommend this drum!

Snoopy Jaw Harp

Because of the two discouraging reviews for the jaw-harp that are here I thought I should share my own experience with learning the jaw harp and how much fun it has been to be able to play it.

I got my jaw harp several years ago as a Christmas present and just gave my mom a look like "What is this supposed to do?" Of course, neither of us, or my brother and dad, could play it, but we could hear the vibrations of the jaw harp resonating in our heads. So for about 3 maybe 4 months I practiced and practiced and still couldn't get any audible sound out of it. So I put it somewhere for later, probably a box and soon lost it.

Metal Zydeco Tie

This thing is the definition of dumb fun. Plays well with others, those who'll hang around anyway. Wanna scare away racoons, buy it. Need the ultimate tie for Bad Tie Day at work, this is it. Don't have Bad Tie Day, start one.

Picture Congress wearing these instead of stuffy red, white, or blue ties, it'd be a different country! People would actually watch C-SPAN! Betcha Englands House Of Lords wears them. March in July 4th parades with your co-workers wearing them. Its patriotic!

Bronze Large Murchunga

Although it took some time to arrive, I was impressed by the sound quality of this product! Although it is quite small, it produces a clear vibrant tone and is very easy to play. It is not loud, but the tones have a ringing effect that serves to amplify the sound a little. My only complaint is that it was somewhat tarnished and dirty, but this was easily fixed (lemon juice and salt removed the stains nicely). This is my first time playing a jaw harp, and I have only had this product for a day; but I can already get clear rhythms and tones out of it. It takes a delicate touch and does not require much physical exertion to get a pleasant sound. I recommend it for the inexperienced and experienced alike!

20" Natural Cactus Rainstick

Rainsticks are a dime a dozen. I didn't expect much when I ordered this one, other than it would be larger than average. The item description doesn't do it justice - this thing is HUGE!!! One can modulate it to get anything from a light rain to a heavy downpour. Due to size, the sound can continue much longer before inverting than with the smaller rainsticks. I was totally unprepared for this - and I love it.
