This item was a great choice for us!! We needed a chalk board for our sons homeschool classroom. We are looking forward to ordering a second board like it to extend across the wall. I would recommend this board also. It has a quality finish and a very nice wood frame!!

Quartet 2005 Quartet Bulletin Bar I Natural Cork Bulletin, 36 x 1, Natural, Aluminum Frame

These cork strips are the perfect size for the area in which I wanted to put them. They are unobtrusive, yet handy for all of the little memos - appointment reminder cards, school schedules/events/permission slips, notices of store sales, etc. - anything that needs a temporary "home" so that it won't get lost or forgotten - until it is no longer needed and can be discarded to make room for something else! I think it deserves a 5-star rating as is, including the adhesive strips and magnets to attach it to the wall or refrigerator, but my busy family can sometimes be a little rough so my son easily adapted it with screws and anchors so that I could hang it on the wall in my home office because that is where all those reminders tend to end up. ... Quartet M3423 Quartet Magnetic Dry-Erase Board, Painted Steel, 34 x 23, White, Aluminum Frame

I'm not certain what was wrong for the others who bought this, but it works just fine for me. First of all, there was no glue used at all to ship mine - perhaps you just got it bad from the distributor friend... Second, this didn't even come with a blue marker, but came with a black one, and it erases fine for me. Also, magnets hold to this really well. I'd normally give this a four star review, as it's nothing amazing, but the other reviews seemed so harsh to me that I'm trying to balance it out.

In general, a good product for your buck.

Quartet 3640TE Quartet Reversible Mobile Presentation Easel, Dry-Erase, 72 x 48, White/Neutral

This easel is made of durable materials, easy to use and very versatile.
Unfortunately, the instructions were poorly written and illustrated. Overall, it is a good buy for someone who has good mechanical skills in assembling such items.

Product was exactly what was described and works as intended. The metal piece is a little too flexible so just bend it backwards to start.
