Brother TN-115C High Yield Cyan Toner Cartridge Compatible with Brother HL4040CN,HL4070CDW Series

This cartridge lasted exactly one month for our office. We print about 100 color pages a day, 5 days a week. Figure it lasted only 2000 pages or so. The original toner that came with the printer lasted longer. Odd.

The cartridge is suppose to get 4,000 pages @ 5% coverage on letter size paper. When you use the printer regularly and all your High Yield cartridges run out of toner at the same time, you will begin to question why. I don't print the same things over and over nor do I print things that have the same color requirements. Is it possible then that all the color toner cartridges run out at the same time? My toner usage in 6 months is exceeding my toner usage the entire year previously with an older HP model yet my print requirement is the same. Canon must have something going on with the cartridge cost. Is this why the printer was so reasonably priced?

The knife at the end will not lock in the "out" position. It's still usable, but inconvenient to do so. I do like the tool's ability to quickly slice through the plastic security packaging.

This printer works great. I had needed a printer with fax/scan/copy and wireless capabilities because I live in a pretty small house and wouldn't have so much room for all these various devices and it needed to be wireless because I don't have enough room for it next to the computer so I had to choose a different location, but this machine here does everything I wanted for it to do.

Setup took about 5 minutes, which includes connecting it wirelessly to my WPA secured router which isn't configured to broadcast an SSID. It was a breeze. Instruction manual seemed just fine. When it comes to ink for my R1800 photo printer, I am concerned with the quality of the images I print. The Epson cyan UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges. The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal. Third party options may produce a good print initially, but may not hold up or last as long.

Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster (8.5 x 11, 50 Sheets)

First off I ordered Ultra Premium Glossy and received the Luster version. The vendor Shoplet.com has been a pain, very slow and unresponsive to correct my order. They took the money! Well, somebody has. They initially delivered quickly and when I contacted them to correct they stalled us for additional 3 weeks. Since then I sent them the Luster paper, another 3 weeks...no word. Oh brother.
