I bought these for my wife who has back problems. She says they are great for picking up leaves, weeds and twigs. We each have our own pair and I have three more that will be used for Christmas presents.

This claimed to have a "nearly-unbreakable rake head". It broke during shipment. I returned without any problems, but did not request a replacement.

Hard to believe you could get excited about a rake but this one really is great for those hard to reach spots. We also have the larger rake and love it as well. Both rakes are very light weight and have nice long handles so you don't have to stoop. We have several Fiskar garden tools and plan to get more. They are all very well made, quality products.

No need to own multiple width rakes! This handy rake will tackle all your raking jobs with ease! I like how it adjusts easily to fit between plants and rows. It's very light weight, but yet sturdy and strong too (nice heavy duty tines). The wide 24" setting allows me to quickly rake up the many leaves in my yard...and the narrow 8" is perfect for cleaning-up and raking around all my plants, as not to harm them. The new season of "Dancing with the Stars" began last night. I mention the show in passing because I have my own "dance" show going on right in my own yard. It's called "Dancing with the Rake."

And dancing, I do. Sweep. Sweep. Turn. Underarm sweep. Thrust out. Pull in. Chop. Chop. And again. Sweep.....

Oh my, it's that time of the year if you have Live Oak trees. Nasty little buggers. When your trees are shedding in the fall, mine is sitting there with its dark green little leaves, just biding their time. Then in the spring when all other yards are looking good, flutter, flutter, zip, zip, down they fall, singly, in pairs, in dozens. They look like a horde of butterflies coming in for spring.

This mini rake is perfect. I have a raised garden with lots of plants and the short handle allows me to rake leaves and debris out of my garden. I would recommend it to anyone with back problems, arthritis or has a short reach and needs to reach the far side of a planting bed.

Apologies for not submitting review sooner. I just opened up package holding rake today, July 10th, 2008. Since being under severe drought conditions here in San Antonio Texas starting this pass April I really did'nt have anything to rake. The drought did finally break the day before and during the 4Th of July thank God and now I will have some raking to do and by the looks of your product, this sturdy and very pliable feeling rake, it should do the job with great smooth ease and believe me for an achey boomer lady that's just the ticket.
