We love this heated birdbath and so do the birds! It didn't quit fit onto our existing birdbath pedestal but we tweaked it just a bit and it fits fine. It is easy to clean too. We would reccomend it to anyone living in climates like ours here in Wisconsin.

I have two of this model and one of the old model with the plastic bottom that catches the seed. All three are the very best. They are definitely squirrel proof (but not raccoon proof!). We live in a natural setting so the bird seed dropping to the ground is not a problem. I've had the old model for at least 7 years and this SDC model for at least three. They not only last, but are easy to fill and clean.

I've owned three of these feeders for several years and LOVE them. The squirrels know it's useless to try, and thus stay off. The birds love it and the Cardinals do use it with the Cardinal ring attached.

Some have complained about frustrated squirrels chewing through the ring. This has happened to me several times and Brome always replaces them free of charge! Top rate company with a top rate product.
P.S. I just placed a replacement order and was informed that they are working on a new design for the ring.

36" Goldfinch tube feeder is a wonderful product, well-made, squirrels don't seem to like it; it was shipped promptly, packed well, and I would do business anytime with this seller. The Droll Yankee hummingibrd feeder is beside it, with red impatiens underneath. To the left, is a roller feeder for sunflower seeds and a Droll Yankee tube feeder for safflower seeds. Plenty of space for more feeders, arch home-made for just what I want, cast-iron bird multi-hooks also a yard sale buy. Not much money invested and what pleasure. I bought this for my Dad for his Birthday. Stupid me...I fell for the GREAT DEAL and expected it to actually be worth something close to the amount I paid....Like I said...Stupid me. This is the cheapest piece of metal I have ever bought. Do NOT buy it!! Save your money. Trust me...It's a mass produced item and the factory obviously doesn't inspect the items prior to shipping them out. The stand has a threaded top that the bird bath is supposed to screw onto. However, the stand is defective and no matter what you do...The bird bath itself will NOT be anywhere close to level once you succeed in getting the threads to screw on correctly. Piece of garbage. I cannot believe Amazon will sell this item. They obviously don't care if they are misleading ... Read More:
