Just purchased a bird feeder. Had no idea the birds went through seed so quickly. I bought this brand because it said it attracted a wide variety of birds. It got eaten rather quickly, and we bought an economical bird seed but was not as good as this first package. This brand did not leave a lot of shells on the ground, whereas the value brand did. I highly recommend this bird seed, keeping in mind that it is not the cheapest alternative out there.

I have had this product for at least five years and it was bought at a garage sale. It has feed many birds and it is so much fun to watch the birds have their feast, since I only put sunflower pieces in it. Enjoy!!

Well, this is sure a pretty feeder for the hummingbirds, but they don't seem to enjoy it as much as the copper one I purchased. It is a little clumbersome to wash as the metal part keeps getting wrapped around itself. But all in all I would buy another one of these if for nothing else the looks.

I do not intend to hang this feeder out until winter, but love how the bottom is screened to let water go through so seed is not laying in it.

Great product, I buy this about 3 times every 6 months. I can even bake them and toast them to eat them while I watch birds plop dead from the trees. Sad how nature takes it's course.

Audubon Deck Mount Bracket (34'' x 5'' x 15'')

I had purchased the same type of bracket for my deck at Lowe's. THen they stopped carrying it and I needed two more. I use them to hang Boston Ferns from my deck. This does the trick, it's identical to the ones I had purchased at Lowe's. I've had the Lowe's ones for 4 years and no rust. These do the trick

Feeder was as expected. It can mount onto a pole, but I hung it on a hook.
Unless you get a dish to mount at the bottom, you will loose a lot of thistle seed. I took a small Frisbie, drilled drain holes in it and mounted it to the bottom rather than get a dish from Amazon for $8 and another $9 shipping.

I bought this feeder after having lots of trouble with bees, wasps, and spiders in my previous bottle-style feeder. This feeder has worked wonderfully, and all the bees and wasps quickly gave up trying to get food from this feeder, even without the included "NectarGuard" tips on the inside of the feeding holes. The built-in ant moat has also been successful so far at keeping out spiders, plus it has built-in overflow holes to prevent it from overfilling due to rain. The low-profile shape reduces wind resistance so it doesn't swing around too much, although it should be noted that the wide, shallow nectar basin will still spill if tilted far enough.
