I love the looks of the house. It is too late this season to attract the purple martins, so I don't know if they will like it next year. The biggest problem with this is building it. It took me 8 hours to put it together. (I do have long nails and I was doing it myself) If I could have purchased this already put together, I would have paid an extra $50.00 for it. It would have been worth it.

The minute I filled this feeder and hung it in my backyard I had birds eating out of it. It also holds up well to the squirrels sitting on it and tugging at it to get at the food. I feel that the birds are more comfortable with plain uncomplicated wooden feeders. At least I have had better luck with them. They blend in with the surrounding landscaping as they weather.

This feeder has a large capacity, so you don't have to fill it constantly.
It looks good and it's well constructed. I put a few coats of thompsons water seal on it for good measure. I would guess that we will enjoy watching the birds at this feeder for years to come. (not to mention the squirrels)

This item:Garden Song Super EZ Fill Bird Feeder was purchased to replace the most wonderful birdfeeder I ever bought which got damaged so it was unusable...and I could not find the same one anywhere. This replacement feeder, of which I bought 2, may have been similar in design, but did not perform anywhere near the one it replaced. The design has the top rounded to fit the shape of the bottom portion which holds the seeds and the feeding ports. Unfortunately, this means that the rain hits the top and runs down the sides, wetting the seeds and clogging the feeder so the birds can't get seeds out. Avant Garden 8170-1 Tiffany Style Hummingbird Mosaic Birdbath

Recently purchased this bird bath in a tiffany style. It's affordable, attractive, light weight and makes a nice ornament in our yard, plus the birds clearly are using it both for drinking and bathing. Would recommend it.

This wooden bird house is very nice. It was super easy to put together and is made from nice wood, not cheap stuff. The interior walls are the only card board like materials and they are inside. It does take some time to assemble, but the parts are well identified.

I use mine as a general birdhouse, and the Wrens have already moved into the attic section. Other birds have been investigating the two lower levels.

The only downside I see is that it might be difficult to clean out if that is your plan. The roof is screwed on and that would have to be undone to get to the interior, unless you cleaned it out through the holes.

Outside of that cleaning issue, which I think I will leave to the birds, this is a ... Read More:

API 670 20 Inch Heated Birdbath On Pedestal

We received ours quickly via Amazon, great service as usual, and the sole reason this even got one star.

The bottom base of the unit is not made very well, (somewhat rounded up on two edges) and hard to get standing straight up. The base is hollow, and even with a bunch of rocks in there it still is not sturdy at all. Since it's summer we haven't tried the heater. I'll say it looked and sounded better on "paper", but it's poorly made. We're thinking of throwing the stand away and mounting to the deck rails.

Stokes Select STK8046-12 Peanut Suet (12 cakes)

We have birds in our yard that we have rarely seen before, and they come several times a day just to feast on THIS suet. We have used suet for a long time, but not just any suet will attract these birds. The change in the number and type of regular birds came about when we changed over to Stokes peanut suet. We have a red-bellied woodpecked that flies in several times a day to get his fill. We have male and female harry woodpeckers that enjoy the suet. All of our birds love it, and the suet is important for a bird's diet in the winter time.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys watching and taking care of birds.
