The rake is everything advertised and more. It is sturdy and works great. Very handy size for many tasks. I highly recommend this product. The grip on this tool is very comfortable and also sturdy. Looks and feels like it will last a long time.

I wanted a rake very badly to get rid of residual dried grass blades after mowing. Though I did have a rake for dry leaves, it was not serving my purpose. I searched the internet thoroughly and came across this product. The reviews seemed quite positive. I ordered through amazon and received the product very fast. I was amazed to find how sturdy it was. What I liked most about the product was the 7-tine heads were sharp enough to penetrate the grass bed (unlike my leaf rake which were flat headed). I can even rake dry leaves without a problem. The extendable handle gives a very good support for my back.

Midwest Rake 96060 Roof Rake Extension Handle

Roof rake and 5' extension are of good quality. My only gripe is that the support tubing is difficult to slide over the inner tubing. UPS shipping was incredible. I had my rake in two days.

The ergonomic design is wonderful, as the previous reviewer said. The problems I have had with it are:

1. No bagged fertilizer seems to give the "dial setting" for this model. I guess it is not popular enough. It has settings 1-5, and most other spreaders have at least 7 or 10. I usually just leave it on 5, but I honestly have no idea what spreading rate this allows.

2. It gets clogged easily. I wear gloves, so I just reach a hand in and break up the fertilizer clump that has blocked the opening, and then keep going. This depends on how clumpy your fertilizer is, some kinds are worse than others, especially if you are using from a bag that was opened last season. Not a huge deal for smaller lawn (mine is only ...
