Remington should be ashamed of themselves for selling JUNK like this. It doesn't even cut, much less hack: It swishes the grass blades around in the hope that it'll break off on its own. The store won't take it back so I'm trashing it--not even worth giving it away. The only reason I bought this was my store doesn't carry Black and Decker anymore, which was a superior product compared to this junk. If I could I wouldn't give it even one star.

I was disapointed. The rake was rather heavy, and awkward. However, I could have lived with this, but the rake simply doesn't pick up enough leaves to make it worthwhile. When you "close" the rake, most of the leaves are forced out. I returned the rake. The good news is that the Amazon return process is really slick.

I probably would never pay $40 or $50 for hand clippers as I have not yet achieved a high income bracket, but I found these on sale somewhere for $20, and for that price they are great.

This spreader is well built and works quite well. We use it for spreading ice-melt on the sidewalks of our 23 building apartment complex. In order to do this, however, you'll need to contact Agri-Fab (the manufacturer) for an inexpensive deflector kit which you can install that narrows the spread pattern down to 4-feet wide - the ideal width for sidewalks. The large hopper means we can work for quite a while without having to stop and re-load. The large pneumatic tires give it good traction in the snow and slush covered sidewalks and make it easy to push.

I'd give it a 4 star if it costs 6 bucks, but with shipping it cost me over 10 bucks, still don't get why it costs this much, I put a prunner and a general purpose garden knife and a old leatherman in it and it's already stuffed, one neat feature it has is the plastic clip on it's back, which hook on to belts and pockets easily, well made though. Oh, if you are wondering, yes, things do fall out from it if you allow it to happen.
