I am very pleased with this product. I have a seldom used McCullough electric chainsaw with a blunted chain, but I couldn't find an OEM replacement (McCullogh went out of business years ago). I looked in all the local hardware stores including HomeDepot and Lowes but no luck. I found it very easy to install, and have used it for several small jobs. It is well priced, at ~$15 with shipping.

Now I can throw away all of the extra cardboard that I've been keeping.

I'll admit that I cut cut it gratuitously when I first got it to check out the self-healing properties :)

Wonderful if you work on a regualar wood surface that you'd rather not deface.

This size is perfect of most applications (especially if you accidentally drop your hobby knife etc. - wide coverage has been a boon).

I love that it hangs on a nail somewhere out of sight when I'm not using it.

Why 5 stars? Did I mention that I buy mainly great stuff?

I purchased this in lieu of buying a 3500psi washer (I have a 2400psi washer), so I could reach my second story dormers and siding. Works great, but if you extend it to the full length, hang on and make sure you are leaning into it! At the full extended length it is hard to handle (especially with a turbo nozzle on it), and I have a lot of upper body strength and the mass to go with it. However, if you lean it in towards the wall and then let the pressure hold it back from the wall for you, it isn't too bad. I bought the silly harness thing to help hold it, but it is pretty worthless, and makes it really hard to adjust the height or change a nozzle, because you have to unhook from it.

Plastic Felling Wedge - 5 1/2in.

Anyone using a chainsaw to cut wood needs at least one plastic wedge. You'll find yourself getting stuck sometimes, no matter how good of an arborist you are, and these really help out. Sometimes they're great for inserting in a log and cutting while pried out, which is why you don't want metal. Buy two!

I'm trusting that the funnel filters contaminants as advertised. The downfall is that not all of the liquid poured into the funnel passes through the funnel. The filter area is above the bottom of the funnel and as such, there will always be liquid left in the funnel.
