Anything thicker than half an inch - the machine stalls, even if you try to feed it in short bursts. Once it stalls, you have to unscrew three nuts, and the main one (with a safety power-off) is located so close to the body of the machine that you can only make a quarter of a turn at a time, otherwise your fingers get caught between the nut and the machine. Once you unscrew all the nuts and lift the top, you do not see anything wrong there, no bits of wood stuck between the knives or anything, so you replace the top, screw the nuts, start it - and then you go through the whole procedure two minutes later, for no apparent reason.
Waste of time and money if you want to chip branches, even small ones. OK for twigs - but even then you do not produce real ... Read More:
