Curry Leaf Tree (Murraya koenigii)

This beautiful little tree arrived just fine, and though it seemed in shock for weeks it is now making hopeful little leaves. I had it outside while the weather was hot but now have it in a window. I haven't harvested any leaves from it yet - can hardly wait - but I wnat it to grow more first. it has new leaves so seems ok... though it has stayed smaller than i expected it would after all this time.

By far and away this is the best all around sprouter. I start almost all* of my seeds in this sprouter, even if they will eventually be growing straight up like wheat grass and alfalfa sprouts. Due to the drainage holes, I can use a garden nozzle to force water through the soaked seeds to give them a thorough rinsing. You cannot do this with jars. I can start 1 - 2 cup of alfalfa seeds or any seeds that will eventually grow to the green stage and let them sprout a couple days before I transfer to individual pint sprouting containers. Garbanzos or other seeds that tend to get moldy with other methods can be sprouted with success. Again this is because you can force water through for a thorough rinse.

This product arrived in a timely manner. It had a few leaves that had started to yellow upon arrival. It may have been over watered before shipping. Eventually it lost all of it's leaves. I thought is was done for, but the plant revived and has begun growing new leaves. Can hardly wait to see it flower.

These types of plants (Dionaea, Sarracenia) need to be put in the cold for a couple weeks before they will sprout. They are not your common house plant and are more difficult to upkeep. They will need constant care at first in order to make sure that fungi does not attack the seed or seedling. If you are looking for a quick grow then this is not the plant for you. For the first year the Venus fly trap will not get any 'mouths' larger then 2mm.
Great plants but not for every day person. For these plants research is your best friend!
