Bonsai Dwarf Red Cherry Tomato 35 Seeds - Hybrid

These germinated very quickly and easily and grew into a compact plant about a foot and a half high. The fruit taste just like regular tomatoes (i.e. not particularly sweet) and are really cherry sized.

If you have a lot on your hands you can just do what I do with 'em: Toss them in a mixture of ground black pepper, minced garlic, onion, basil and olive oil and then sun dry them or dry them in a dehydrator. They turn out very crisp, yummy and bursting with flavour. Then they can be eaten as a snack or you can save them in a bottle to put on top of pizzas or toss into any Italian dish you're making.

Sooo...This is my first time planting anything and actually getting results. I did notice that there are tiny sprouts really close together because I obviously didn't spread them out too well...Hopefully, these won't choke each other out. :)

At first the watering can was fine - I really loved the handle and the ease of carrying and pouring it. But after just a week or so, the sprinkler spout would continuously get clogged and started to leak. The rubber on it was very soft and flexible which prevents it from keeping the seal tight. Now I just leave the sprinkler head off and just pour it through the spout - sort of defeats the purpose of why I bought it in the first place . . . I wanted a sprinkling water can!

i still have 3 of the pots that the herbs are doing good. I have used some of the basil and thyme for dressings. I was disappointed that there were no holes in the pots, but it may not have been necessary for clay pots to have holes since they are porous, just not what I am used to. Also, the soil reminded me wet saw dust and not soil at all. I was not sure how much to water them and I overwatered one of them to where the water was standing on the top and went to tip it over slightly to drain the water off and the whole thing came out ... I just used some of my potting soil in it and put some more seeds in to grow and they never did grow - it was the cilantro. The chives never did come up.
