Good reasons for buying this model:

1. The wand is made of brass. It should be long lasting.

2. The unit shoots volumes of fluid at a long distance. As a result, this sprayer can double as a Super Soaker Water Gun for water fights between kids during the summer.

3. The wand hose is commercial grade.

4. Unlike other brands, you can purchase replacement parts directly from factory. Unfortunately, the parts are so expensive that it is cheaper to buy another new sprayer.

5. The top screw-on cap is wide for easy pouring of fluids.

6. The built-in holder keeps the wand off the ground. This prevents dirt and debris from plugging up the wand's orifice.

Great spreader overall. It worked great spreading seed over a three acre cow pasture. With the 200 pound capacity I was able to do the whole thing without refilling. It held up good too with all the bouncing over the rough ground. Have not used it for much else yet. I bet it would work really great speading seed or fertilizer over a smooth yard. The only dissapointment was how it was shipped. No packing material in the box. So a Couple parts and levers were bent. But I easily bent them back without any problems. The rubber tires are a great thing to have as well. Overall I think it's a great product for a great price.

This is the first backpack sprayer I ever bought. I've had a few conventional tank type sprayers in the past. I couldn't face lugging those around anymore so the weed control wasn't being done. I decided to try a backpack style and the price seemed resonable for the Solo. I can take care of my entire property in two fills (6 Gallons) and the effort in pumping is negliable compared to a tank sprayer. The tank is marked in gallons but I wouldn't depend on this, 4 gallons may be rounding up. I put three gallons in it and it registered well above the 3 gallon mark. If this one wears out I'll buy another one because the time and effort saved already payed for it with the first use. I don't know how other brands compare but this one has everything I ... Fimco ATV Sprayer, 25 Gallon, 3.8 GPM, 45 PSI, 12 V, Boom

The bracket that attaches to the ATV is very difficult to attach and had to modified to allow connection to a Honda Foreman. After finally getting the tank and spray boom attached, the unit worked very well.
