Gilmour Spray Doc 2-Gallon Wheel Pump Sprayer #W2

I own the 4 Gal. version of this sprayer, and it is awesome! We live on a 200 acre ranch in South Texas, and I use this all over the place! In fact, I keep Round-Up solution in it at all times. I mix up about 3 gal. at a time and never empty the tank because it never needs cleaning and is incapable of clogging. The only time it has ever clogged is when the tip of the nozzle has some dried solution on it. A quick rinse and it is as good as new. Our "yard" around the house is about 9,000 sq. ft. of carpet grass with lots of landscaping and beds. The sprayer primes up by pushing or pulling it for about 10 to 12 feet or more...plenty of time for me to drag it to the flower beds from my garage. This looks like a nice unit, but in Amazon's description, it says it comes with abrasive material. As noted in another's review, IT DOES NOT!!!!!!! Once again, Amazon is wrong in their description, and just plain doesn't care or desire to fix it.

I live in a condo community, have a small yard and a small "common" front yard so I didn't want a big spreader. I bought another brand that is green which failed to work well. This spreader was so easy to use and worked very well. I would recommend this to anyone with small areas to cover - easy to use, easy to load and spreads evenly. If mine died, I would buy another. I am impressed.

I bought a used one, was missing the extension, seller never replied to my inquiry. I nuked his service feedback. The sprayer itself is pretty amazing, we had bag worm problems on some bald cypress trees. 20-25 feet tall. Spray almost reached the tops. It helps to have a second person to hold bucket or whatever your spray solution is in. 2 trees wore our arms out, wouldn't want to do an orchard with it. Cats don't like it.

I recently bought this Precision Products 130-pound tow-behind spreader. I live in Albany, NY and we do get our share of ice and snow. Although I do not spread salt, I found this product does a superb job in distributing dry coarse sand, called cement sand, on my 75 ft. driveway. It took a few tries to adjust the flow properly, but now I found the setting. The hopper holds approx. 4 coal scuttles full of sand which is enough for one side of the driveway. Then I fill the hopper again and do the other side. Finding the proper towing speed is also a factor. Too slow does not spread very well. After a few passes I did find the proper speed.
