This item works great! I use it in my garden and on my flowers, it's easy to use, holds a lot so you don't have to keep refilling it and it's inexpensive. It doesn't weigh a lot either so it's easy to hold onto-even filled!

I bought the 2-gallon version of this sprayer about a year ago (Gilmour 2000p). It goes up to 45 PSI, never leaks, and consistently performs better than the store bought sprayers (Roundup Brand, etc.).

I would have ordered this 3-gallon version but I decided on the Stanley 4-gallon backpack sprayer instead (Stanley Professional Backpack Poly 4-Gallon Sprayer #61804). I'll review it after it comes in and I get a chance to use it.

Solo 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayer Piston Pump #425

I bought the solo 425 for organic spraying of pests in my garden. It works great except for one small problem. The backpack straps that came with my solo had straight clips on them that fell off when the sprayer was full. A quick call to SOLO, informed me that the straight clips were crap and they sent me a new pair of redesigned straps right away. Great product great service from solo. I bought this model because a neighbor had one he had been using for 10 years!!! I hope mine lasts that long. Note: The 425 has a piston pump (for liquid additives), the 475 has a diaphragm pump for powdered and / or liquid additives. Make sure you get the one that you need. The only reason the pump did not get 5 stars was my strap problem.

I have owned a SP sprayer for two years. I have used it to spray roundup. It clogged and I took it apart to repair it. When I put it back together it would not build up pressure and did not work. I purchased new replacement parts. The recommended Kit 12 is very expensive. $28.89 for two "O" rings and two "rubber?" washers. Despite the overpriced replacement parts cost SP also charged a $1.31 Materials Handling Fee and a $5.00 Warehouse Handling Fee. These fees were not mentioned a the time I placed the telephone order. I am buying a new sprayer from a different company.
