I received my order of 4 pairs within 2-3 days. They were a cinch to set up and they meet my needs perfectly. I've had them about two months now and they hold up well. So far, I'm satisfied. The quality was much, much better than what I expected given the price.

I bought this MONSTER in September for half the price that other retail outlets were asking.
I brought it here to Brazil with me. (It weighs a ton)
It was worth it, the sound quality is superb. If you rack up the volume to the 75% mark, distortion creeps in and it is quite noticeable.
Apart from that I have no complaints, the sound is clean and clear.
Can't figure out why the remote is wired, and not wireless!!

Logitech S220 2.1 Speaker System

I bought this product because they were cheap speakers and I wanted something louder than my computer. They are easy to set up and sound great and are pretty loud. For $25 I doubt you will find better new speakers. The remote is also a nice feature. The two biggest drawbacks for me is that there is quite a bit of wiring running around, and the speakers do not have a slot in the back for hanging.

This is the second set of Logitech Z-5500 I own. My first set I bought for my computer and have been extremely happy with them. Im no "Audiophile" but I do have a Good ear. the Z-5500's perform well in all audio ranges and they are clean clear and powerful. I bought this second set for use as my home surround sound system on my 47" Toshiba Regza LCD tv. and I have them set up via optical cable (TOS Link) My FiOS set top box, DVD player and Playstation 3 are all going to the TV via HDMI cables then I went from the TV to the Logich pod via the optical cable and I have pure digital sound and video now and they completely rock My old surround sound system I paid $500 for and are total crap compared to the Logitechs. I teach and have a set of these in my classroom. I plug my iPod or my Mac in and send clear, crisp sounds to my students while they are working or as they are entering on a theme day. My students come up and ask me where the sound is coming from. My wife teaches second grade and was just moved to a new room with a new computer, Elmo, and projection system. She can play DVD's and clips from the Internet on her computer but didn't have any speakers other than those on her computer. I insisted on buying her a set of SoundSticks II and they really complete the system. All of the music from the DVDs and CDs is clear and crisp. I love my little JBL speakers.

After becoming mildly obsessed with the quality of audio in my life, I bought a JBL On Tour speaker set to stand in place of my tinny Macbook Pro speakers.

Some people will complain that they sound tinny and not very powerful. The fact is, they offer nice clear audio at volumes above what a laptop is capable of. High's are great, mids are so-so and bass is punchy but minimal. Still, it's a huge improvement over laptop speakers and far smaller and more portable than other travel speakers. They fit great in my Timbuk2 bag. Seriously, that audio is very clear.

These speakers are decent enough for laptops that do not generate enough volume through their internal speakers IF you are watching tv shows streamed online or for DVDs. However, I would recommend something more expensive if your laptop is your primary music system.
The sound does not handle bass at all well and that is a natural result of having no sub-woofer.

Purchased on Amazon. Was quite surprised by the quality of sound from these little speakers. Nice full range. I don't understand the comments of weak bass, I found it clean and strong, punchy without being boomy. Great value.

Logitech AudioHub Notebook Speakers

I bought this speaker for my wife after having bought her a new laptop whose only limitation was a very week internal speaker. I found this one at Amazon for $20 on sale. The only comments that were negative seemed to be from people expecting a $100 speaker. But, for a $20 speaker, it's all she wanted and more. It's got good bass and a clear sound. It fits easily behind her 15" laptop screen.

As others have said, this speaker is not the most easily portable, but, paraphrasing Barack Obama at an early primary debate with Hillary Clinton, "You're portable enough." She can take it in her bag to school, where she teaches, and take it home with little difficulty.

JBL Duet Speakers, White

These are replacing a set of Klipsch desktop speakers that went to a new HDTV in another room so they are getting compared to a very good set of speakers that cost around $200. First of all the sound is very impressive for a set of speakers at this price range. Other speakers around this price have been very deficient in my opinion. The bass is weak compared to the Klipsch (those speakers have 3 cones each, high , mid, bass) but not bad. You get a reasonable rounded sound that is fine for most web viewing and relaxed music listening. I can recommend these for a anyone who wants decent sound for their computer but isn't looking for powerful audio dynamics. The design of the set leaves a lot to be desired but I can get used to it.
