It works great and looks good with a very good picture. I recomend this for anyone. i jus wish i would have waited a week so I could have gotten it a little cheaper. Other than that I am very satisfied.

HP W2207H 22-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

For the money the HP w2207h is a pretty good monitor. I was leary of the glossy surface but as long as light sources are not directly behind you, there is not much glare. Pictures look quite good but those, who like me, who do photo and art work, be aware that there is some light fall off at the sides and at top or bottom. When looking at a white screen the sides look like a light tan because of this fall off. This is dependant on how close to the monitor you sit. I like to be 20" to 24" back but if you sit 26" to 36" from the monitor you should not have this problem.

Got this for $12 less last week. "Buy it Now" still has the lowest price, with free shipping. Beats the River by the Same name in South America with their slow "free" shipping. However, I like this monitor so much, I will buy another one. It puts out a clean, clear and bright picture. That's all I want. Thanks BUY IT NOW.

This is an excellent product. I mainly wanted it to use as a reference monitor for HD content I'm editing, however, the HDTV capabilities are awesome. I've found that with my cable box the channels look their best when using the component inputs instead of the HDMI input. Also, if you are using it with a computer, make sure you have a beefy video card. (I've seen other reviews that mention soft video when used with a computer)
If you are buying it to use for TV viewing, it won't disappoint, however, it is a monitor first and made for viewing straight on, unlike TVs that are made for wider viewing angles.

I have owned this TV for over a week and couldn't be more pleased. It arrived after about 3 days using Saver Shipping, and there are no dead pixels that I can see. I use this as a primary monitor in a dual monitor setup and as an HDTV through a HD Cable Box. It is excellent on both counts.

As a monitor using the DVI hookup, this monitor has amazing graphics with my ATI 4850 gfx card. My old monitor was a 17' flat screen, and with the two of them sitting next to each other, the difference is very noticeable. Viewing text and pictures are both very clear, and I notice no lag or delays with the image. Setup was very easy, and after using plug-and-play for a while, I installed the drivers for the monitor. This is our second Samsung HDTV monitor and it lives up to the 32" we have. We have it connect to a HD cable box, a HDMI DVD player and an aerial. The picture is as good as you can imagine, excellent color and contrast.

There are a few issues that you might be interested in:

The sound is dreadful, not bad but dreadful. I guess Samsung assumes you are going to use a separate sound system. I put together a sound set up with some old multimedia speakers I have (Klipsch) and an optical to analog audio converter Digital Audio To Analog Audio Converter and use the cable box AC socket to power up the audio system but most people don't want to figure out something like this. Sony XL5200 Replacement Lamp for the Grand WEGA A-Series TV's

I have a Grand Wega TV with about 1 Billion hours on it, well not really but it has survived very well through 2 births and up to toddler years. The TV has taken some serious abuse.

This is a replacement lamp for your rear projection LCD Television. If your led on the front goes red then it means its time for this replacement. I have no idea the number of hours I have on the original but I expect that the TV was used every day 10 hours plus for over 4 years. It has never skipped a beat. Yes this is NOT the cheapest part to replace but it is significantly less than a new Grand Vega television.

Great value for the money, but.....

Built-in speakers are poor.
Tried to setup under VGA Windows XP and found text very hard to read. Changed the Resolution from the default to 1360 X 768 to give my eyes a break. Aside from that, no complaints.

I have been a dedicated ViewSonic monitor fan since I began my graphic design business more than 15 years ago. That being said, I've only had two of them because that's all I've needed. The first one was a CRT and lasted for years until I decided I wanted an LCD. I went back to ViewSonic because of my previous experience and for their outstanding prices. That was almost five years ago and my ViewSonic LCD is still going strong and is still perfect. I'm a graphic designer and work on it nearly every single day and I have never had a problem. As far as Viewsonic is concerned -- it is the only brand of monitor for me!
