Purchased this product to replace an ailing 64MB NVIDIA card that came with my Gateway PC. It's amazing how prices have dropped and specs have gone up.

Reviews for the card were solid and the price was right, so I went for it. Installation was straight forward. Just remember to uninstall your old video drivers before installing the new ones.

My applications look great under this card with bright colors and a better resolution than I had before. The software package includes stuff I don't need, so if I had to do it over again, I'd probably go with a custom install and omit some of the baggage.

Before I bought this item I read some reviews that it is changing channels very slow, crashes a lot after watching the hd channels, some ppl couldn't even get hd channels somehow.

The product turned out pretty awesome! I did notice some slowness when i first connected it to my pc (vista-32, q6600, 8800gt, 4gb ram) through a pci usb hub. I was wondering why since i definitely have the horse power for the device to be running pretty fast. I hooked it up to one of the standard usb ports and it got a lot faster. Actually now it is perfect. I am able to watch atsc channels no problems whatsoever.

I also tried it on my aspire one and it worked perfectly there as well!

My only complaint is that the fan can sometimes start to make a loud buzzing sound. I have a Dell Dimension 9100 so it's rather easy for me to open it and tap on the fan, and surprisingly it isn't chronic so I haven't yet thrown it out the window.

Plays all the games though. Was really inexpensive... for about $50 it does the job.

This card offered a massive performance boost when browsing graphic-intensive websites and offered an enormous performance boost for games over integration. Framerates in Halo jumped from 10-15FPS to 60-70 FPS and textures actually display properly. Framerate in Mabinogi also sees a massive boost from 5-10FPS to about 40-55FPS, which means that I can now play Mabinogi on my old system. Awesome little card for the PCI bus, but the only downside i that the card reaches up to 75C after 30-40 minutes under load, which is pretty ridiculous. I would suggest buying an aftermarket heatsink for it, as the stock cooling solution has a heatsink without a fan, which is what leads to the ridiculous temperatures.

I bought this card ten months ago and have been using it happily with my Windows XP (SP-1 and SP-2) systems. However, when I boot to my Linux alternate OS, the 64-bit version of Fedora Core 9, I've had a lot of trouble, and some of it appears irremediable.

After much fiddling in the Linux OS, I finally got my desktop to stretch across both monitors, treating them as a single, extended screen. But I have not been able to get them set up as "twin-view" (nVidia's term), in which I can set up each monitor as a separate screen, each with its own wallpaper, its own resolution setting, and its own orientation. I like to have one monitor set up in landscape orientation and one in portrait. Easy to make this card do that in WinXP, but can't get it done ... Read More:

This thing is pretty sweet. Just connect 1 coax cable and it splits it internaly. I like being able to record 2 shows at once. I watch TV on my big screen, but use this to record my favorite shows and works great, the quality, although not HD over my standard cable connection, is still quite good. My friends brag about having a 100gb Tivo, lol, i have 2Tbs, and can burn em to DVD, hehe. Great card, works perfect on Vista Ultamate 64bit. I use it with Media Center and not the WinTV.

The shipping was super fast and the price is certainly great.

I installed this video card on my wife's computer. She uses it for all sorts of publications and documents creation. I loaded the latest drivers and the card runs great with any business software and publication software loaded on on the machine. No games are played on that computer so I don't know how it will do with any games. The bottom line a great basic card that works reliably.

Very good the resolution of the card, the graphics in games are excellent and I recommend a good card if you want to play Medal Of Honor Airbone or another game that requires a sound card.

I purchased this video card to replace an ATI video card from the last generation of cards. it miles ahead of it. With 1GB of ram it flies on all online games I play including Guildwars, WOW, WAR, and DDO. It runs Crysis and Halo 3 at a very playable framerate at maximum graphics settings running at 1280X840 resolution. I highly recommend it if your looking to get great graphics at a reasonable price.
