This has the makings of a nightmare, but I'm going to give everybody some time and the benefit of the doubt. I ordered the Acer Aspire One through Amazon this afternoon. The vendor was ANTOnline. By this evening, I received an e-mail from ANTOline saying they were unable to deliver to the address entered at order placement. ???!!! No other information except to say they had instructed Amazon to cancel my order. They couldn't deliver???? The product hadn't even left the warehouse!!! I contacted Amazon, speaking to a real human being. However, the connection sounded like a bad cell phone connection, and the young woman to whom I spoke never quite got what I was trying to tell her. Got this for $12 less last week. "Buy it Now" still has the lowest price, with free shipping. Beats the River by the Same name in South America with their slow "free" shipping. However, I like this monitor so much, I will buy another one. It puts out a clean, clear and bright picture. That's all I want. Thanks BUY IT NOW.

I've owned various used laptops before I bought this one. I was specifically looking for something light and portable, like the ThinkPad X-series. However, it was hard to find one for less than $500 that was in good condition. Then netbooks came along. After much time and research, I decided on the AA1 mainly because of build quality, and because it had a Linux-based variant.

When I received the package from BeachCamera, I got not only this computer, but a PC-to-PC File Transfer for Dummies USB dongle in a box (you can find out more about this product: PC-to-PC File Transfer for Dummies) This was not part of the order, and it's completely useless to me. It's a nice little bonus, though. Merry Christmas!

I've had my Aspire for just over a month now and I couldn't be happier with it. It's just what I need -- I started grad school in the fall and I needed something to help get things done while I was in my office. This has done the trick! It's so small that I can take it anywhere, including class. It has great battery life, so that hasn't been a concern either. This was absolutely a fantastic purchase and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
