After downloading Windows SP3, my dvd-rom drive no longer worked. I spent hours online with an "expert" from Microsoft trying to fix the problem. My time is worth more so I splurged and purchased the Targus DVD/CD-ROM drive. I plugged it into the usb port and it was ready for use! I had read one of the other reviews on Amazon (a one star review) that said the tray was flimsy. The tray on my internal drive is flimsy too so I figured how bad could it be? To my surprise, this product is well made and feels very solid. The tray is better quality than my internal DVD drive. Don't even hesitate to buy this product. You'll be happy you did. This product is OK it took a little while to make it work through Skype. The video has a lot of snow for that reason I would rather use a laptop that has a Quickcam built in!

Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless Kit

I was able to set up this mouse in OS X 10.5 in less than a minute, and it simply works. I've had other bluetooth mice, but none have been reliable enough. This one works better than my corded mouse which it replaces. Outstanding.

While I read the others reviews I think I got a bad one. It worked well for about 3 weeks, regular use, actually I was being very carefull whit it, because looks kind of "delicate" and all of a sudden it stopped working. For the price, I guess I got what I paid for, but I was hoping that it'd last a little bit more. Not really recomended...

No, it's not broken, and the battery is not dead. You just have to find and flip the hidden on/off switch on the side.

It's working great with Ubuntu Linux, and apparently just operates as a mini USB RF keyboard. Just plug it in and voila! Unfortunately, the USB connector is too wide, and you might end up overlapping and losing one of your existing neighbor ports. Or you could just use an extension USB cable or a hub.

Open Office's Impress (and anything else that uses a keyboard; you can probably find interesting other uses like volume control/mute) simply works as expected, responding to 'page-up', 'page-down', and 'alt-esc' (window cycling). I bought this memory card for my Canon SD1100is, it works great and at 8MP can hold about 1,900 pictures. If only I would have waited until they came out with the frustration-free packaging for this! That was by far the most annoying part, trying to get into the thing. Do yourself a favor and buy the one with the new packaging! --> Transcend TS8GSDHC6E 8 GB SDHC Card (SD 2.0 SPD Class 6) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] Oh, I should also add that amazon is the best place to buy any kind of memory card. I've compared prices with stores and they're always about twice as much there as on amazon. The money you can save is worth waiting a day or two to get it.

Samsung Touch of Color T260HD 26-Inch LCD HDTV Monitor

This is an excellent product. I mainly wanted it to use as a reference monitor for HD content I'm editing, however, the HDTV capabilities are awesome. I've found that with my cable box the channels look their best when using the component inputs instead of the HDMI input. Also, if you are using it with a computer, make sure you have a beefy video card. (I've seen other reviews that mention soft video when used with a computer)
If you are buying it to use for TV viewing, it won't disappoint, however, it is a monitor first and made for viewing straight on, unlike TVs that are made for wider viewing angles.

With this level of 5 star reviews this product obviously will change the way you approach graphic work for life.

Rather than rehash all that has been said, I would like to add a little notice for those who haven't used this product before. In photoshop make sure you take advantage of the snapshot button in the history panel. Once you start brushing with the pen you will quickly exceed your max undo-ability, no matter how high you have it set. Not sure where it is? At the bottom of the history panel, there is a little camera, it will be next to a trash can icon; click on it and that state of your work will be forever saved.
