This scanner is exactly what you get when you pay $50 for a scanner. It's great for a few copies in a sitting, but not made for large quantities of scans. If thats what you need, then look at more expensive models. I bought this scanner for the sole purpose as an addition to my home PC to scan articles or the odd business document. The quality is good and you can barely tell the difference between the original and copy on 300dpi. The machine is loud and slow, but it gets the small jobs done. Well worth the $50 I spent on it.

Its nice and portable, but it moves way too slow. I put the mouse speed all the way up and it's still way too slow....not very impressed...

Excellent memory card. I use it in my Panasonic TZ5 digital camera. Transfering pictures from the card to the computer is lightning fast, especially compared to Olympus xd cards. Prices are pretty good too and coming down all the time as well. Absolutely worth the money.

Seagate FreeAgent Pro 1 TB 3.5" USB 2.0/FireWire 400 External Hard Drive

The big deal with this external drive is the triple interface.

It's refreshing to have an external drive that doesn't hurt your eyes due to overly-bright LEDs. You can turn the illumination off or have it indicate transfer activity -- at least in theory. I don't see any indication of activity.

I bought this to back up an Iomega 1TB NAS (network-attached storage) device. I was expecting to use Acronis True Image to backup the NAS onto the FreeAgent. No good. I'm using a combination of direct copying and the Roxio Backup My PC program.

I'm happy, so far, with the FreeAgent. It has a 5 year warranty, which was very important to me.

Belkin F5L001 Laptop Cooling Stand

I thought this for sure was going to be the cooling fan for me, after trying several no-name, in-store brands and not having much luck. I read the reviews for the Belkin F5L001 Laptop Cooling Stand and thought it would be the best option. The first few days of usage were fine and I was really happy that my laptop wasn't overheating and the only thing that I was less than happy with, was the foldout stand that kept closing. Its a little hard to pry open and my fingers have slipped and got cut in the open fan blade more than once. I was willing to work around the sticky stand but then things took a turn for the worst.

LaCie Big Disk Extreme+ 301199U 1 TB USB 2.0/FireWire400/FireWire800 RAID System

I've used LaCie firewire 800 drives (all different storage sizes) for over 5 years and not one problem.

I use two 300MB as a daily storage, a 500MB as back up storage and the 1TB as a back up to the back up storage. My work files are priceless and my clients depend on me to keep their files safe.

I usually give presentations and this is a must have. It does not need any drivers in windows or mac and the laser is off if you do not remove the USB key.

Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System

These speakers are really just the best value you can find anywhere. They are just as great, if not greater, than some home theater surround sound speakers; and also a lot easier to use. I was able to buy the game console adapter and use that to hook it up to my tv and it is awesome when you put in a good dvd.

just received it :) so far so GOOD! love it its a bit big:( nd slightly heavy but i wont be moving it around so that doesnt matter. everything works. Make sure you purchase the usb cord (find the cheapest one, I bought one here for like 2 dollars) Ink might be expensive but just try nd buy in bulk.
