I haven't been able to even use this product. Because of the high-pitched noise my dog is terrified by it and you have to get your pet accustom to the trimmer and the noise. Depending on your pet that could take weeks, months. Then they have the same product at Walgreens for the same price if not cheaper so save yourself shipping cost and get it around the corner at Walgreens.

I had expected better results with the FURminator. It did O.K. with my medium long hair cat, but not any better than a less expensive fur rake does with my long thick fur cat. I suggest going with a longer width than what is recommended for cats. In my opinion, the short width of the tool made it tedious when combing my extra large cat.
If I had had the opportunity of trying this product before buying, I probably would not have bought it at the given price.

we have 5 dogs and 2 cats and the cats are ok with the nail clippers but the dogs aren't and they are mostly medium sized dogs so its hard work!! I tried step by step like it was listed on the manual but most of them were scared to death and peed all over the house.. one of them had a good response but he goes into the play mode (if you know what i mean..) and its dangerous!! to both of us!! when he gets excited i can't hold him down and he thinks i am playing with him.. and if i can't hold him down i can't see how much I am shaving it off.. and if I do it too much then it's going to hurt him... I could do the front paws but not the back paws.. so I tried to do on the chihuahua (because he is decently small..) but ooooh noooo... he cried and cried and cried ... Read More:

Do not order from Discount Pet Supply. They sent the wrong product. I want them to pay the return shipping due to the fact that they sent the wrong product. I will never order from them again! I wish I had know that they can not read, they sent me the shampoo, I ordered the Waterless shampoo. There customer service is terrible. I give them 0 stars.

Oster Nail Grinder 078129-101

I used to love this company and product. I have show dogs and depend on short perfect nails and use grinders. My first Oster was awesome, and interchangeable with Dremel replacement sanding bands. Then I bought the newer (blue) one at Petsmart. While doing the nails I turned off the tool and set it down hastily, it never worked again. Totally would not turn on. I tried to repair it but everything is so small I couldn't figure out what the problem was. So the next day I bought another out of the store- same kind. While I was doing nails on the grooming table the puppy ran by and snagged the cord and pulled it off the table onto the carpet. It only fell 2.5 feet onto soft carpet but it never worked again either. Same exact situation.

I never received this item because I ordered direct from the "As Seen on TV" website. After ordering, I discovered that the shipping charges were $15.00 and tried to cancel. I was never able to get a live person on the phone and the website does not have any other way to contact them--no email contact. Then a few days later, we received a phone call from someone that got our number from "As Seen on TV" trying to sell us earrings. Now it has been 13 days and we have not heard from them or received the item. We called again and were not able to speak to a person. Called again and finally spoke with someone. The order has still not been shipped and we cancelled it. The moral of the story--buy only through Amazon and good luck if you buy from this "As Seen on TV" company. ... Read More:
