This is one of my all-time favorite products! When we adopted our cat Simon, I wasn't sure if he would use any type scratching post or pad. I noticed one of these scratchy boxes in his shelter cage, so I bought one for him to try. He loved it! He walked over to it immediately and began scratching. I, of course, am thrilled that he likes it instead of our sofa arms.

I love how the little bag of catnip is included. Simon goes NUTS when I sprinkle fresh catnip down into the cardboard.

It is a quality box (very sturdy), and I also love how the cardboard center can be flipped over to provide more life for the box. All in all, a GREAT product.

Maybe your cat will like using this scratcher, but it isn't at all interesting to my kitty. It's too narrow for him to want to scratch and he ignores it... which kinda defeats the purpose.

My cat loves this scratcher because it is comfortably wide for scratching on it and it provides good space for napping on it. I love this scratcher because it is durable. :-)

I finally have a set of 4. They're a great little add-on to your order. I added one to each order until my set was complete. At $10 it's hardly noticeable. So far, I've only baked cornbread in them (individual size of course) and I've used them for petite banana splits.

The alpine scratcher is a real furniture saver. All of my cats use it constantly. It's great that refills are available. I stock up on them - my furniture thanks me!

I agree it really doesn't really stay put when you lean it up on something, but it is much sturdier and heavier made than most flat cat scratchers. It has taken so many workouts from my cat already but still in very good condition for many more, good value for the money. I always put a piece of that rubber grip drawer liner under it so it doesn't slide around on the floor. She actually hasn't touched the carpets since I purchased it for her.

Ultimate Post Perch

She has a window seat, a hang on door cat tree, and she spends most of her time on her cat perch next to my computer while I am working. It is the best little seat in the house, as far as she is concerned and well worth the money.
