While my pup absolutely loves these they don't last long at all. I have a 6 month old Beagle mix and the normal size Flossie will last about 15 minutes until it's completely gone. I would LOVE to be able to find something that holds his interest like Flossies but lasted longer. He doesnt seem to like rawhide and even turns his nose up to certain biscuits! The only good thing is the local shelter is getting alot of free treats donated from me! :P

You can find these cheaper than they are here with free shipping if you search around, but paying over $100 for 50 of these is still quite high for such a short lasting chew.

Charlie LOVES his Texas Taffy. He first fell in love with them when he selected one of the smaller sized ones in a local pet store. It was his reward for enduring a bath. After paying almost $5 for one- I was thrilled to find the larger size with a much smaller price tag. Now Charlie doesn't need a special occasion to have one- he can enjoy it anytime.

My dog loves this. She's a tiny toy fox that's gone through tubs of them already. Only thing is there seems to be no consistancy in what is in the tub. I guess they make different sets of batches so sometimes when I order I would get chicken balls in the variety and other times I would get something else instead. Never the less my dog still loves it.

1 Lb. Bull Sticks

I've ordered the 12 inch thinner sticks for my dog before and he loves them. I ordered these by accident last time (wasn't paying enough attention!!) and although the dog still loves them they smell incredibly bad! The longer, thinner sticks no not have this bad smell (unless you stick them right by your nose I suppose). As soon as I opened the pack of these sticks the smell infused the entire house and when I gave the dog one his paws carried the horrible smell for days afterward. I finally put him in the sink and washed his paws.

I'd recommend the longer 12 inch sticks over these simply for the smell. I ended up just throwing this pack out and ordering the longer ones.

I don't know what it is about them, but they like them over every other tendon, bone treat. My dogs are Italian Greyhounds, not so big, so each one lasts them 3 days or more.

Pig Ears 100 Pack (Case)

I've purchased boxes of pig ears directly from Merrick as well as through Amazon.com sellers. Any problem with the pig ears needing to be wiped off originates with Merrick's shipping: in large 'knock-down' boxes that are not sealed airtight and so can get 'dusty' during transit. If it were not for this, they'd get a 5-star rating. I've registered this concern with Merrick two or three times, but don't know if anything has changed, because I no longer buy directly from them (their retail prices are higher to me than if I buy from one of the sellers; go figure). This bucket of assorted dog treats is a real hit at our house. Full of muscle chews, pizzle sticks, sausage treats, jerky, both beef and chicken, etc. I can grab a handful, throw it around the house, and dogs are entertained for hours of chewing pleasure. Best of all, they're low-fat.
