I didn't realize these bones were so thin. I had assumed they were chew bones, but instead were actually a treat. If you are looking for something to occupy your dog for an hour, these aren't it. My 11 week old puppy chainsawed through one in no time. I really needed something to keep him chewing for a while, something that wasn't my couch or shoes. I'll keep looking...

These treats are great as a special treat to give sometimes. Amazon is usually the cheapest place to buy them. The dogs seem to digest them well. I was hoping it would take my dogs longer to chew up, but they like them so well they just crunch them up quickly. I don't really care for the other smokehouse products I've tried, but this one's a winner.

I agree that there's a problem with the chews not all being equal size. But in our family, that's not a problem. All bags of chews, no matter the brand, seem to have this issue...thick and thin together...but we just use it to our advantage. We have 2 dogs: the one we raised from a pup likes a big, thick chew, the other is older and a rescue, and though we take him to the dentist regularly, his teeth are just very sensitive so the smaller chews work out great for him. The ones in the middle they share equally.

Another thing, each chew is coated differently. The smaller more wrinkled up chews have more of it than the thicker chews which have a smoother surface. But our boys don't seem to notice these small differences and we're ... Read More:

After reading all the great reviews for this product I was excited to try the CET HEXtra Premium Chews Petite size. The product is labeled for dogs 11 lbs and under. My Cavalier puppy weighs in at 5 lbs, so this should have been the appropriate size. My puppy went about chewing happily. I watched her chew for a few minutes, the chew was the holding up well. I answered the door, looked down and saw her swallow the chew. I tried to fish it out of her mouth but it was too late.

I hope this review is helpful to someone looking at this product. Do not believe the size guide, size up. I gave the product 2 stars because the puppy liked the taste.

I've researched many dog chews but I ended up with this Premium chews. Yes it's little pricy but it's worth to buy!
My dog loves it!! and it really works as it describe.

I have two dogs, one German shepherd and one cocker spaniel and as soon as they come out of the package they are chewing it and it keeps them occupied for hours

this bone is huge, and really does appear to be the thighbone of a wooly mammoth. looks tasty but a little messy. days/ weeks of chewing enjoyment for large dogs
