I am a rat terrier breeder and so i know crates, cages and carriers. My daughter and I also show our dogs in conformation, so i know the struggles of moving into and out of hotels, and setting up and breaking down at the shows. EASY is a good thing! ROOM and COMFORT are good things. RUGGEDNESS and a PRETTY PACKAGE are also good things. This line of crates has it all.

There is always a down side. If anything, the strength of the materials used to create this crate means you have to really PULL & PUSH to set it up securely and then reverse your steps to take it down. Once it is set up, however, you can feel confident, that your dogs aren't going anywhere until a human opens the door and invites them to leave.

Update - The manufacturer shipped a replacement panel for $30. I then went to the local hardware store and picked up some chicken wire to make sure Bogey doesn't remodel again.

Our 9 lb Papillon with a bum front leg made short work of this crate after about 2 months of use. I guess once he figure out the plastic was easy to get at, he got after it. He's not a chewer and he's been crate trained since we got him 3 years ago. They really need some cross bars to prevent this sort of thing. It's a nice looking crate but it obviously is flawed.

I was a little apprehensive about paying 100 dollars for a dog product but this play pen is great! I have two mini dachshunds and the play pen has more space in it than they need. Two larger breeds such as Pugs or Lhasas could easily relax in this portable pen. Now I don't have to run home from a friend's house to take care of the dogs. I just bring my portable playpen with me and I walk them and feed them when necessary. I don't have to worry about a thing and my friends don't have to worry about my dogs running around their houses! It is a sturdy piece of equipment yet it is light. Excellent and sturdy kennel. Also approved by airline carriers and USDA for national and international shipping. Can buy attachments for food and water dishes. Can take of front door and dogs loves to have a special places of their own.

My dog is an 8 month, 46lbs. Canaan Dog. He is growing so fast. I have used this travel kennel before, but in a much smaller size.I found it to be very sturdy and well build. I wanted my pal to have a clean, safe environment that would also give him plenty of space to stay when I can not be at home to let him roam free within my house......this Pet Kennel was the answer.

This crate is not actually rattan. Its rattan-looking plastic. I was a little disappointed at first, but now am OK with this, because the material does not interest my pup to chew.
It is a nice-looking product anyway, much more attractive than most crates. I like the extra width it has compared to most models of this length, as my pup likes to sleep stretched all the way out.
I have a mild-mannered pup; not sure this would hold up to the wilder canines, but if you have a fairly mellow dog, its great!

I have the Model Port-a-crate E24 for the house. I wanted a smaller one for the car. Like the others, I also ordered the Model Port-a-crate E20 by Firstrax and received instead the Port-a-crate e by Petnation. I have contacted Amazon and they are sending a new one. I will let you know if they send the right one this time. This is the first time I have had an issue with Amazon.

Update: Amazon sent the wrong item again. Don't order this from Amazon unless you want to return it twice.

The kennel is easy to fold-down for out-of-the-way under-bed-storage, and easily re-assembles in minutes. Just right; and cheaper than the options I saw at PetSmart, PetCo, and WalMart, especially when you factor in the sales tax to add to the total price.
