For goodness sake don't buy this crate if it's your dog's life goal to get free from captivity and don't stick a dog that has never been crate trained in here and walk away. However, if you have a quiet dog that is not a chewer, or a digger and is happy to rest quietly in their crate until you let them out, this crate may well be perfect. I crate a large German Shepherd in mine and she hasn't tried to escape or done any damage to the crate.

The crate sets up and takes down very quickly. The fabric and screen feel nice and heavy. I like the smaller screened wildows that allow the dog to take a private nap while still getting ventilation. I breed and raise Great Danes, and this kennel is a wonderful addition to the house. It is big enough for a teenager, and makes them feel secure and safe. Much easier to clean than the wire ones, and you can travel with your giant dog on some airplanes. Too large for any but the biggest planes. But if you work to find an aircraft large enough to accomodate the mammoth size, you can take your friend where ever you go in this crate.

Maybe there was a redesign? Maybe some people never go to Ikea? Anyway, I had no problem putting it together - everything fit exactly as shown in the instructions. Ours replaced an endtable in the living room and looks fine in the corner. I too, noticed no smell. Yes, the wicker has a polyethylene (plastic) look/feel, but it still looks remarkably better than the small plastic kennel that sat in the living room before this purchase.

This kennel has been great for my dachshund. He gets plenty of air and can see what is going on around him. Easy to collapse and fold. Easy to keep clean and sanatize.

This crate is light weight but very sturdy. It took 15 seconds to unfold and set up. It has two convenient doors and a handle on top which makes it easy to move. It also came with a divider. It is strong enough for permanent use yet light enough for travel also. Amazing low price, this crate is a great deal.

I could not believe the price of this crate. It was so inexpensive and functions so well! We have had this crate for over six months now and no problems! We bought it for our chihuahua and it is spacious for her but small enough to fit in our bedroom without getting in the way. We love it! It also folds down so easily for storage or transportation. Super easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner and pull out tray can be tossed into the dishwasher if needed!
