Our new puppy, Bo, took to this immediately. I used newspapers with it to start, but then dropped the papers after a few days. He uses it without fail, and it is so easy to clean. Just a couple of sprays from a bottle of cleaner and a wet paper towel takes care of it. I do use the wee pads in the bottom of the tray, and they just fold up and go in a garbage bag.

Great idea!!

The product arrived very quickly and as ordered. My cats love the thermal mat. I just put it down and showed it to them. Don't put them on it. You need to let cats think it is thier idea to lay on it. (LOL)

The shampoo lathers well and only a small amount is required. I have a large dog and it is good when the time needed to clean him is shortened because a product works well.

Our dog is a barker. Once he got used to it, he actually doesn't bark at the garbage truck! It is amazing how much better he is even without it. Mind you, when he doesn't have it on, he still does get to barking a bunch, but it seems that his barks are less frequent and does not continue for the whole 5 minutes that a person may be in view of the front of our house. One thing that we have really liked about it is that because it detects vibration AND sound, he can still groan and growl and make noises while playing with his sister without being shocked. The only problem we have with it is that if the electric part of it is not directly in front of his throat it does not seem to work very well. Also, I agree, the buckle is ridiculous! ... Read More:

Dogs love it! Best thing is that it came with a replacement "squeaker" and it velcroes to change it out. I plan on using my replacement to make them another toy, but still a great idea!

KidCo Configure Gate

This is the first gate the actually accomodates our irregular stairway. It is adjustable and so versatile. It is sturdy enough that I haven't even mounted it to the walls. I absolutely recommend this gate. I wish I had known about it with my oldest daughter.

Evenflo Top-of-Stair Plus Gate

This gate works very well at the top of the stairs. Our problem is not with the gate, it's with our stairwell. The top of our stairs is uneven due to the molding on the walls. We had to add wooden shims to make the wall even with the molding in order to install the gate. Once installed, however, the gate is nice and secure. There's no need to spend the extra money on any of the other top of the stair gates. I would definitely recommend this product.
