My cats both love this scratching post. The base of it makes it nice and sturdy for the one who likes to pull really hard. My last post bit the dust after a few years when the base came off; this one looks like it'll last much longer. The bit of carpet at the top makes it look neater.

My cats don't seem to mind leaning over to use it, but I would like to get them the tall one someday!

I would give this 5 stars if it was only smaller. I turned to this product after several trainers and techniques, my Border Collie's excessive barking would not stop. I used it once and it worked so well all he has to do is see the collar and he becomes quiet. This is particularly helpful when his paytime becomes a bit boisterous. I am sure all dogs are going to have different reactions, however in my case, this was perfect. Definitely not for small dogs. It will fit mid sized dogs (over 15-20 lbs).

This is the biggest waste of money - do not buy it - it will not work!

It's just people saying a certain word, then a 10 second pause ... then a different word and another 10 second pause. You can create your own if you really want to try this.

But you really should not leave this on for your bird all day - it should be done in 10 minute intervals only or your bird may get irritated by it (i know i get irritated by it after only 2 words).

Don't waste your money on this.

I think that the spray heads do not fit tight on the cans, and in time, the gas leaks out. Quality could be lacking on the spray heads.

This stuff works, I first tried it on a scratcher they had abandoned, and withing 5 minutes my two British Shorthair were lolling around like drunken sailors!!!
So now I use it strategically to give my couches a rest!!
Worth a try, really! =:o)

This product has worked really well with getting our standard poodle puppy to stop barking. I love the remote so I can control her when she is out in the yard. The first button is only a noise, while the second and third buttons shoot a blast of air at her. When she starts to bark I usually only have to just put the collar on her to get her to calm down, as she doesn't like the beeping sound nor the air blast. I like that this can control her but causes her no pain.
