The X-Mat really solved our problem--my daughter's cat had a habit of jumping on my kitchen table--not any more since we purchased the X-Mat. I would never buy anything that hurt an animal--the "curious cat" saw it, and just put a paw on it -just a touch-and that was it!!!!!!!

Pet-Agree was recommended to me by my veterinarian's assistant to control excessive barking and I have not been disappointed. My dogs are very responsive to use of Pet-Agree in conjunction with an appropriate command and they are quickly learning to be quiet and obedient. These worked great for me. The first time that my cat went to claw after I had put them on, he put his paws up on the chair and immediately removed them and looked at his paws like there was something wrong with his paws! Then he sniffed the sticky pads, apparently decided they were the culprit, not his paws, and turned and walked away. No clawing attempts since. The only thing negative I can say is that since my dogs are about the same height as the sticky pads, the pads have collected some hair, so they're not exactly an attractive addition to my leather furniture, but neither were the claw marks. And once they get too hairy, I'll just put some new ones on.

This product works as advertised. I bought two of these devices and have now successfully trained my cat to stay off of countertops and tables. Some reseller websites advertise that the device makes a sound (beep) before spraying and will "sound condition" the cat; however, a very helpful customer service rep at MultiVet advised me that the sound option was recently removed from the product, because it did not work as expected. Refills last only 3 or 4 days at first, but longer as the cat learns to stay away. Buying the refills in bulk is less expensive. I am glad I found this product.

I was very excited to get this product to help enhance my "stubborn" dog in her training. I figured for the price this thing must really be worth it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use it yet. If you read the training manual that comes with the collar it is made clear that all of your training should be done with a special lead, that does NOT come with the product. In order to use this product I have to either go buy and use a special leash and then transfer the use (after possibly quite a long time) to this product or I have to go research a different method of using it. Very disappointed. It may be a great product, but it is very frustrating to receive something only to be instructed to go purchase and use something else first.

The product is a good buy. It's probably better for people with young birds. Mine is older and set in his ways a bit. He does like to listen to the cd. I think it would be better if the song clips were not so short. The average length of the clips is 18 sec. I would rather have fewer songs on the cd with each song being a long clip of the song, rather than lots of very short clips.

I have a very picky dauschund who will only use this pad. He is very good with these but I've tried 5 other brands and he won't touch them.
