I must need to cut back on the coffee because I can't really see anything with this due to everything bouncing around. I do appreciate it's small size and relative affordability, but I'm questioning whether or not I'll ever get any good use out of it.

Bushnell 2.5x42 Night Vision Monocular

Pros: Works great in low light, is very easy to operate, bang for your buck.
Cons: I didn't get it sooner.
Uses: Recreational- airsoft, animal viewing, other.
I live in the woods. It is very fun to watch the animals move about at night. I also play airsoft with it.

Unfortunately, my review is not particularly good. I purchased (or at least THOUGHT that I purchased) what was promised to be a two-item, grouped product offering. I was actually supposed to get two scopes, and I originally placed the order to get the OTHER one. After all, this thing is really just a toy, and can be had for around ten bucks. I placed the order in late May, and still (mid-July) have not received the bulk of the order. I am told that it was backordered, but apparently that is code for, "We have to find someone who remembers how to make what you ordered and we promised to deliver in two weeks... er....nearly two MONTHS ago." Tasco Essentials 10x25 Monocular

I have used mine for over 4 years now. I work outside everyday rain or shine. I read electric meters for a living. My Tasco 10x25 is great for this job. This particular model focuses in very tight with a small feild of vision. For my job its great, But, most people wish to have a wider angle. If you want a wider angle dont buy this product. If your looking for something that will focus close and tight on an object this is great!!!

Got this item shipped very fast. Works as advertised but the instructions say it is "water resistant" not water proof as listed in the ad. The batteries it uses are a little expensive. Overall very happy with this item

This is a poorly constructed piece of equipment. Having just returned home from Iraq, I think my expectations were too high for this product. It focuses poorly, the IR feature does not work that well. I would tell anybody looking for something like this to spend the extra money and get a better one. I wish somebody had told me that. Ive got a very costly paperweight now.

I got one of this and I really love, its not the best one, you know, but for the price, I paid $91.00 used one. But it works very good out side, in closed area the bright light can really be unpleasant for your eyes. but you really can see in complete darkness so that is the point of the IR. I can see a clock against wall in my living room im complete darkness at 24 four feet. And the diopter has very good focus, very clear picture.This one is better than Yukon NVMT 4x50mm gen 1st (Mfr#24027) because I bought both and returned the Yukon.
