If you need Polaroid film, this is a good buy but beware, you don't get the platinum film, just regular 600. The photo is misleading.

Lomographic Holga Starter Kit

Im not a professional photographer by any means, but I bought this camera set thinking it would be a fun little addition to a road trip I had planned. I read on the whole lomography thing.. but when the camera came I was a little dissapointed for the price of $60.00. It seems like all you really need is THE CAMERA, THE ELECTRICAL TAPE, THE FILM. Everything else they charge you for is not necessary.
It certainly was fun to take the pictures, but I have yet to develop the film, not a lot of places near my home deal with that particular kind of film. The whole taping process of the camera is a drag as well. I honestly don't even know if I'll ever use it again. So it was pretty much a $60.00 one time toy.Maybe I'll be more excited when ... The Holga is a medium format camera taking size 120 film. I has a single plastic lens and a plastic body with a shutter that is controlled by a single spring. It sounds like a piece of crap and it is. But you will be astonished that it will make such interesting photos and how creative you can be with it. Forget all you know about the technical side of photography when it come to the Holga. Just shoot and wind and be surprised by the results.

The whole set is cheap, but the lens are not so good compared with other professional Nikon lens in which are suitable fro D90. But it is still a good deal for beginner.

Provides very nice results with my Polaroid Colorshot printer which I'm still able to use under Windows XP even though there is no driver...

The trick is to download and install Microsoft's FREE (yes FREE!) Virtual PC Software and install Windows '98 on this virtual PC. You can then install Polaroid's 98 driver on it as well and continue to make "real" photos until the film supply runs out...

There was some sort of screw up with the postal service and they claim the package was delivered, but I have yet to receive it and it's now been four weeks. I know the company I bought it from can't really do much because there end of the purchase was apparently technically fulfilled, but I have yet to receive the package and all they told me was it was marked as received and if someone stole it then thats a federal crime. So I'm now without a Polaroid camera and out like $20.

Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof 35mm Single Use Camera

I bought this for a recent snorkeling trip. The camera itself was leak-proof and performed well under water. The photos were quite disappointing though. It did not even come close to doing justice to what we actually saw. Not a very good buy
