I am very pleased with the product. I use it for scanning both opaque graphics and 35mm and 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 transparencies. I never use the holders for the mounted transparencies allowing me to scan more at once. I then separate them with the cropping tool in Photoshop. HINT! If the first slide in the row is too close to the top of the light slot the scanner will treat the material as opaque.
I do not know why people are complaining on the reviews about this printer. I've had alot of great times with it, and yes you have to learn how to play with settings, but you also have to know what you are doing in dealing with the printer quality and the way your printer and computer interact. As you would with ANY printer.
I just got done taking 2 college courses that touched upon it. You have to know how to set it up and how to do it, its not spy speak but it is something that takes fiddling and patience. As for ink cost, puhlease not that bad at all! Infact I just found some on here for like 18 bucks for the color! Sweet! Everywhere else its a little more. But I do remember buying 3 packages of paper with roughly 150 pages each! ... Read More:
I've had my printer dock for about 4 years and the only reason I keep it is because it also charges the battery to the camera. My main problem is 9 times out of 10, the printer jams or misfeeds. I just tried the rubbing alcohol on the paper roller and it was able to grab the paper. Also, the picture doesn't print out immediately, it pulls the picture back and forth through the paper feed to add each additional layer of color so this constant use of the paper feed may also be the reason for the paper jams. The picture quality is good but I've just reverted back to uploading my pictures and having them printed at local store. This product is not recommended.

So far so good. Fairly easy to use for simple titling projects not employing much in the way of graphics, though it has some basic capability I've not yet explored. Will use my Epson R220 for more elaborate needs. Have only had mine couple days, but initial use has been very good. Sure beats titling with a Sharpie. Very pleased with mine.
By far the best printer i have ever owned. I have had Lexmark, Epson, other Canons, HP, and this beats them all hands down. I love the paper tray so i am not always having to reload. Easy on ink. Print quality is outstanding. And it lasts forever. I have never worn out a printer, just print heads and similar parts. But that seems to happen pretty quick after the warranty ends. I don't think i ever had another printer (except the old reliable pre-inkjet type) for that a year. I can't remember when i got this one i have had it so long. I think it is at least 3 years old and maybe a good bit older and still cranking. I think Canon thinks it was a pretty good machine because i returned a different printer that had issues and they replaced it with this one. At first ... Read More:

I printed about 50 4x6 pictures and the cartridges ran low. The cost of new cartridges is just about the same price as buying a new printer. The iP6210D is not worth the money, a poor value.
I deeply wish I had checked reviews BEFORE I bought this printer. It worked correctly for about four months and over the last year and a half has progressively deteriorated. The ink is too expensive, though you can save through certain recycle programs. The ink is also UNRELYABLE! Some of my photos have yellowed, and faded horribly over the past year; on both HP paper and Kodak paper. I know of no recalls, but somthing is WRONG with HP ink! The printer also slowly stopped feeding paper correctly. Sometimes it took far to many in and jammed, but most of the time it only takes paper when pushed into the rollers 1-by-1. HP cust. serv. said "try cleaning the rollers". Seriously? Do you think I didn't try that before writing? I will NEVER consider another HP printer, ... Read More:

This printer is small, convenient, and easy to use. It prints beautiful photos. I have used it for a couple of years now and its still working great.

I bought this printer in 2004 and am still using it now. No problems so far. Mainly use it to print documents and pictures off my memory card or camera. The quality of the pictures are awesome considering that this is only tri-ink printer. It is fast enough for regular document printing applications and adequate enough for high quality photo printing. It can be used as a stand-alone printer to print photos from your memory card, just slide it in and you're good to go. For creative pictures, you need to adjust settings in the printing configuration from your PC. The software is not hard to install, its plug & play. You do however, after installing the software, to auto-set it to download driver updates so you can get the best performance out of your printer. The ... Read More:
