Celestron SkyScout Personal Planetarium

I purchased the unit brand new, installed good quality batteries and installed the software on the computer and updated the software on the unit to newest version. in a clear field with NO METALS, power lines, watches ets. it displayed a magentic error icon as well as an odd lat/log. using another gps i entered the gps cord.from this unit and it shows that my field in maine has been telported to south eastern CHINA!!! I rebooted it many times and same results, new batteries same results. the moon i could see was indicated as not being present.
entered in the correct gps cord. manually and it worked perfectly. also the magnetic icon dissapeared. however after shut down and startup it said i was in china and all needed to be reentered. ... Read More:

Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15x70 Binoculars w/Tripod Adapter

I will def. recommend this product. It's been only 4 days, but I really like this thing, it has amazing clarity and not that bulky but for sure you will feel the weight within 10 seconds and thats the only issue.

Still, much better if you will compare to telescope. And again you need to compare the price with bulky telescopes as well. So by all means good enough for amateur astronomer like me.....

Celestron Sky Maps

The Celestron Sky Maps make a good adjuct to he SkyScout. They help you with a broader view of the sky in your area and give you a basis to search for objects more easily with the hand held. They "glow" in the dark to make there use on a dark night easier. They can be used alone and replaced older and less user friendly maps I had.

Celestron 93985 SkyScout Speaker (Black)

This product is great. One of my early frustrations with the Celestron SkyScout was that everyone I was stargazing with had to share the same ear buds, and only one person could listen to the audio at a time. This tiny speaker allows everyone to hear clearly the audio guide. That makes this speaker important equipment for the SkyScout--it allows family and group participation for what had been a more solitary event. Highly Recommended!

it is worth its price. I strongly suggest to people who have interest in microscopy. Easy setup (actually out-of-the-box ready!) 5 free uniteresting slides, but still good enough to set up your fine tunes.

Good price but not impressive viewing. Better to be used as a binocular. It doesn't magnify very well and gets very frustrating to use. Would not recommend.

Celestron 44410 Prepared Microscope Slides (25-Piece Set)

I had bought these slides for my 11 year old daughter who had just recieved a microscope. When they arrived, two of them were broken! Luckily, the specimen was not damaged, so they were still okay to use. I think those slides broke because the wooden box was a little too big for the slides to fit in. Each slide was labeled with the name of the specimen that you were looking at. There were some spelling mistakes on the labeling on the slides, but everything on the little sheet that had all the names on it was spelled correctly. For example, the sheet said that specimen #22 was part of a Dog's Small Intestine. The label on the slide itself said it was part of a Small Lntestine. Intestine was spelled incorrectly.
