Great flash, works well. I love all the settings. the flash isnt too hard and bright. Only con is that there is no swivel head. Which isnt a biggie.

This camera is perfect for underwater pictures AND regular pictures! Last time we went snorkeling we made the mistake of purchasing disposable cameras - FAIL. Terrible and no depth. This one has zoom and the clarity is amazing. The colors also came out really well. It's pretty industrial - everything is easy to access underwater. It comes with an extra water proof seal ( so 2 water proof seals in case the 1st breaks). 5 stars, easy to use (actually had to read the manual, but it comes with a manual for a reason) and produced great results.

Vivitar V3800N 35mm SLR Camera w/ 28-70mm Lens

My V3800N was my very first camera purchased so that I could have a fully manual camera for my Photo 1 class. Although I haven't used it in a while, I still love my little Vivitar and have plans to take it back out again. It's solidly made with a great hand-feel. It's an excellent beginner's film camera. At at tasty price point, it's well worth the gamble because I promise it will pay off!

My V3800N was my very first camera purchased so that I could have a fully manual camera for my Photo 1 class. Although I haven't used it in a while, I still love my little Vivitar and have plans to take it back out again. It's solidly made with a great hand-feel. It's an excellent beginner's film camera. At at tasty price point, it's well worth the gamble because I promise it will pay off!

This is a very stylish camcorder. But, as I wanted only a camcorder, for me it has too many left and unnecessary features (PC camera, MP3, etc.). I tried it right away and was a little bit disappointed. It is not usefull indoors or at night (do not have night shot features), and if the objective moves (or you move), the recorded image blurs also (do not have steady shot either). Maybe the producers can remove the PC camera, the MP3 and the voice recorder, and improve features more needed in a digital camcorder, such as the night shot and the steady shot.

Quite clear images and good depth of field, lightweight. The focus control does little and there is no individual eyepiece adjustment, but easy to use. Good value.

I purchased this camera last December (10 months ago), mainly for my work as an insurance inspector. I use this camera constantly (so much that I have worn off the model number on the front), taking 100's of pictures in a day, in all sorts of weather conditions and all sorts of light. In the main, I am extremely pleased. It is durable. I've dropped it several times and its ok. The lens retracts and covers itself when you turn off the camera so you don't have to worry about scratching it. Most of the time I use it with the automatic settings mode, and it takes great pictures. There are only two minor downsides. First, this camera requires you to hold it very still to get a good sharp picture. Even a very strong wind can make it hard to hold it still ... Read More:

I agree with the other reviewers that this is definitely an entry level camera. It takes very good pictures outdoors. Colors are rich, contrast is sharp. However, it's a nightmare to work this thing indoors. It's nearly impossible to not get some sort of blur in indoor pictures. First, the view finder takes a long time to come into focus so you basically have to remain still for around 3 seconds before even pressing the button. Once you press the button, it's anyone's guess how long the shutter lag will be, so you better keep still until you hear the click. Even if you do manage to take a picture indoor without any movement, the colors are flat and contrast poor. You have to use photoshop to improve any single indoor picture.
